Braid is played by solving physical puzzles in a somewhat standard platform game environment like Super Mario Bros. with jumping and enemies. One of the main game elements is the player's ability to reverse time and "rewind" one's actions, even after dying. Review Braid
While it costs 15$ and only lasting about 4 to 6 hours, I can honestly say it is one of the best games I have recently played.
