Branded Diamonds

Branded diamonds and jewelery are one of the hottest topics in the diamond industry today. Companies are creating special cuts and quality standards so as to carve themselves a niche and distinguish themselves from their competition. With so many excellent brands of diamonds, you can't go wrong. Featured below are some of the best recognized diamond brands in the market.

Asprey Diamonds

The Asprey Cut was created by master diamond cutter Gabi Tolkowsky. To achieve this cut, Tolkowsky looked back at historical cuts and was impressed by the cushion cut popularized between the 17th and 19th centuries. With its soft, not quite square shape, Tolkowsky thought it would provide him with various options for incorporating the Asprey "A" inscription around the edges of the stone.

Asscher Cut Diamond

The Asscher Cut was developed prior to 1910, when the rotary diamond saw revolutionized modern diamond cutting. It is a square cut characterized by a smaller table and larger steps than an emerald. It features dramatic, cut corners. There are no "ideal" proportions for an Asscher Cut and they are not common. Most of what is in the marketplace is found in estate and antique venues. These stones tend to be large - often in the 6-carat range.

I didn't think there would be a big difference between PrincessPlus and regular princess cuts until I saw it. this diamond is AMAZING!!! it sparkles more than any princess cut i've ever seen (and I spent nearly 2 years looking at different engagement rings). You MUST see this diamond!
