Braun CombiMax 650

When selecting the best food processor, there are many brands and models to choose from. As one of the consumer favorites and stylish in its class, the Braun CombiMax 650 is inexpensive, works really well, is simple and well made, and looks smart and functional too.

The bowl is made of clear plastic, so you can see the contents easily. The bowl has volume graduation marks up to 2 liters, though it works best when less-than half-full.

The basic cutting blade sits on the spindle in the bowl, and spins near the bottom of the bowl.
The shredding blade fits into a holder, and spins near the top of the bowl, allowing chopped food to fall into the bowl. There are three different blades for various chop sizes, easy to change.
Other components include a dough hook and a whipping blade, but the standard blade works just fine for both functions.
The parts are easy to recognize, and you will have no difficulty figuring out how they fit together.

I like my new Braun CombiMax Food Processor. It is everything it promised to be: powerful, easy to use and can go from squeezing orange juice to pureeing soups to chopping vegetables.

It is no harder to clean than any other. I was surprised at the juicer that comes with it and haven't tried it yet, but sounds good if making lemonade, etc. Braun is a good brand. It is no more expensive than many of the other well known brands.
