Disney Pixar Movie Brave (2012) Coming Soon!

Brave, an upcoming Disney Pixar film, is slated to be released June 22, 2012. This will be Pixar's first film with a central female character - Princess Merida.

The early previews of the animated movie Brave looks intriquing. The mystic landscape of Scotland and the strong lead female character Merida have put this film on my list for must see movies in 2012.

What is the Disney Pixar Brave Movie About?

Brave Movie Plot

Princess Merida, daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor, is a skilled archer determined to strike out on her own. She breaks with tradition and defies an ancient custom much to the chagrin of the Scottish lords (MacGuffin, Ferguson, and Dingwall). In response, to her defiance the land becomes chaotic. Merida looking for help to restore her father's land turns to a witch and thing go from bad to worse. Merida must discover the "meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it's too late."
