I am a big fan of The Patriot. This movie is taken in the same vein as Braveheart with Mel Gibson using axes, muskets, and rifles to help the Revolutionary War.
When I first Saw this movie, I immediately thought of the classic book The Swamp Fox of the Revolution. I'm not certain if the movie was based on this book, but if you enjoyed one, you will enjoy the other.
