Beginning in 1995 and lasting for the better part of a decade, Mel Gibson pumped out what seemed to be epic battle movie after epic battle movie. Starting with Braveheart and moving down the historical timeline with The Patriot and We Were Soldiers, Gibson created some massive movies that I dub:
