An Introduction to Bboy

When I got into break dancing/bboying with my friends during freshman year of high school, I was instantly been hooked. At first, I viewed it as an exercise. But now, it is not only a competitive sport, but also a form of expression and a way to SHOW OFF AWESOME DANCE MOVES. I've been break dancing for about two years now, and although I've been through a couple of injuries, I still love to break. (to the right is a picture of me a year ago doing an airbaby)

Some of my advice:

-Short, frequent practice is better than long, infrequent practice (ie. 15 minutes of practice during the morning, afternoon, and evening works better than 45 minutes of practice in the evening)

-Breakdancing is always more fun when you have someone to practice or battle with

-Your abilities will reflect your commitment (some moves can take a month to learn with consistent practice)

-I can't stress this enough, but HAVE FUN!!!!!
