Welcome to my guilty pleasure. My gal and I just can't get enough of this show...

Are we alone? When we mention this show to any of our friends, they seen to have no idea what we're talking about.
We just happened to catch the very first episode one night by random chance and ever since, we've been hooked.

If you haven't seen Breaking Bad, you are missing out.

This show is one of the most brilliantly written, acted and directed programs I have ever seen. We just love it!
Okay, here's the set up: Walt (The main character played by Brian Cranston) goes with his brother-in-law on a ride along to a drug bust. They drive up to a house and Walt waits in the car while his brother-in-law, Hank, goes in with a group of other DEA law enforcement agents and raids the house.
Meanwhile, Walt see's a kid jumping out the window, escaping out the back while he sits in the car.
Walt knows the kid from the school where he teaches chemistry, but he doesn't say anything to anyone and the kid gets away...

Albeit shameless gushing, I admit this program has us hooked

So the kid gets away (Jesse), but Walt knows who he is and decides to hunt him down secretly because Walt wants to learn the drug business, namely the meth cooking and selling business, because he is dying of cancer and wants to cook meth using his chemistry skills and sell it to earn a big chunk of cash to leave his family before he dies...

Breaking Bad latest reviews

The reviews are in, and Breaking Bad's season finale has swept the critics away. Entertainment Weekly calls Episode 13, "tremendously satisfying," while Newsday's Verne Gay considers it "TV"s best finale of the season." In California, The Los Angeles Times says the episode was "audacious in scope and flawless in execution," and The San Francisco Chronicle raves the show is "unbelievably impressive." Online, TV Squad noted that it capped off a "stellar" sophomore season, while AV Club hailed Season 2 as "one of serialized drama's greatest accomplishments."

Breaking Bad has all the elements and twists to keep you on the edge of your seat and leaves you wanting more...

This is one of those programs that you look at your gal in dissapointment when each episode ends

So the two pair up and start cooking meth in this old RV they buy and the meth ends up being the best the market has ever seen! Walt, being a chemistry teacher, insists on taking every precaution to make sure it come out absolutely perfect.

...But what about Hank, his DEA brother in law? Hank finds out about this high grade meth finding it's way to the streets and starts looking for the source. They speak at family gatherings and Brian Cranston (Walt) says more with his eyes to the camera about his involvement than we can hardly stand, but brother in law never figures it out.
Ya gotta be there!

Which was your favorite episode from the series?

I have a lot of favorites, but I'll go with the time the RV's battery died in the desert....Or maybe when Heisenberg collected from the dealers.

How to pick a favorite??? Better Call Saul was great, because it gave us an awesome new character and some much needed comic relief. But the season 2 finale has stuck with me longer than any other episode. This is one of the best shows that has EVER been on TV. Period.
