I'm about to have this surgery & have read micro needing or dermarolling can help with scarring.
Do you think its worth having done post surgery?

I don't think so. At least not at first. It depends on the type of scar. Most surgical scars are hypertrophic. Needling on scars is often done on depressed scars to reduce depth. I would ask your medic about silicone sheets, surgical paper tape, medihoney dressings. Hope this helps. Good luck!

hi, I have had Benelli lift 5 months ago, at the top of my areola's the scars have stretched and become wide - is there anything I can do at this stage to reduce this?
as a side note I did wear the silicone patches for a while early on but felt they wear flattening my breasts, at the moment I am using vit e at night and La Mer during the day on them. Thanks

Hi Ana, I'm not sure if you can do something yourself once scars have widened. I know paper tape is used to reduce tension which prevents scar widening. Vitamin E cream may cause irritation so be careful with that. To be sure, ask your surgeon. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!
