Breastmilk is one of the greatest gifts a mother can give to her child. Too many of us have to return to work soon after our baby is born, and do not have proper support to help us to continue to provide the very best to our children. Knowing your rights and taking the time to pump, even if it isn't the most convenient thing, are essential.

About MrsBrown

San Diego, California, born and raised, Erin Brown is the mother of one son, Elliott. Breastfeeding was an easy decision, as she was breastfed herself and hadn't ever known anything else. As she has done with Elliott, Erin intends to breastfeed all of her children exclusively for at least the first six months, introducing minimal solids before one year, and continue to breastfeed as much or as little as they want after that. Erin is an advocate of attachment parenting, and does not believe in circumcision or "crying it out."

A project manager with a medical education company supporting mental health professionals, Erin has successfully maintained an incredibly healthy breastfeeding relationship with Elliott, despite working a forty hour week with a long commute. If you set your mind to it, anything is possible.

Her husband, Michael, an online support analyst for Sony Playstation, is incredibly supportive and is an all around great dad.
