Brent Spiner plays Data on Star Trek: The Next Generation. He's my favorite character on the show because he's an android, and there's a lot of subtle humor involved in his not having emotions, yet wants to fit in with humans. To that effect, he has a cat named Spot. I get excited whenever I see that he is going to be in something else other than Star trek..

I read he does not plan to play Data again. So it's sad that Star Trek XI will be Data-free.

Star Trek Collector Suing For Fake Memorabilia: A Trek fan bought thousands of dollars worth of Star Trek memorabilia including Data's uniform, visor, and a poker table. When he presented the visor to Spiner at a con, he found out it was not the real visor worn by Data. He later learned the table was fake too, and is wondering about the authenticity of the uniform as well.
Data Does Robertson: TMZ gets video of Brent Spiner when he's out shopping. He seems very nice considering they are taking a video of him that he didn't ask for. He asks their opinion of the writer's strike and he is glad they are for the writer's strike. In the comments, people seem to love him.

Brent Spiner's CD

Brent Spiner was on broadway before he was on Star Trek. I love when he sings. I have yet to listen to this album because of the $50 price when I saw it on Amazon.
