Breville BCG450XL - My Review Read First

The Breville BCG450XL Conical Burr Grinder replaced my aging Krups GVX2-12 Burr Grinder which lasted me a reasonable four or five years. I was happy to see it go because the Krups was a constant source messy coffee grinds all over my counter. By contrast the Breville BCG450XL is a wonder. Not a single grain of grind ever escapes the hopper. The grind is also superior to the Krups. It easily adjusted between fine and coarse and the result is always completely uniform with no fine powder, just like a store grinder would produce. I am very impressed by the overall quality of the Breville. One small example that I liked is the way the excess power code is stored securely under the machine. In summary, it costs a little more than the Krups but it is also worth every penny!
