Largely, Brewster is a small, typical, quaint New England town that isn't lacking in its own uniqueness. For instance, Brewster had the first water-powered grist and woolen mill in the 1600's. The town also has Cape Cod's largest pond, Long Pond, popular with recreation users for boating and swimming.
