Why people love Brian Harnois

While it's true that Brian did his share of goofing up, he also was all too often the whipping boy of the rest of the crew.

While it may be little known, Brian helped establish Ghost Hunters. He was with the original crew. He always showed respect to Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, the "Stars" of the show. Even when Brian was being called on the carpet, which happened far too often, he never snapped back. NEVER.

Obvious from the beginning, Brian had some quirks. Apparently, not being completely honest with his boss was one of them. He could be a little odd at times, but people came to love him. The rest of the Crew on Ghost Hunters were relentless in dogging Brian. Hmmm, I wonder if that had something to do with his being less than honest? People who were brand new to the show were often seen and heard complaining about and mocking Brian. It seems to me that Brian was singled out as the outcast.

Those of us who have followed Ghost Hunters since the beginning, however, came to like Brian, quirks and all. He was a likeable fellow, who tried to be very helpful to everyone. We knew he had issues...so?

I have found in my outside research that a good many people are wondering about, and asking about Brian Harnois. Perhaps he figured more into the ratings of Ghost Hunter than the rest of the crew had anticipated.

What is Brian Harnois up to these days?

Brian is very much into "Star Wars" now, and if his My Space page is any indication, he is pretty happy.

Brian is currently doing a show on blogtalk radio with Donna La Croix (also a former Ghost Hunter). If you didn't know Brian had a my space page, well here it is

Brian Hanois My Space Page

Here is a recap of his shows on blogtalk radio

I see it isn't updated often, and wonder if that is going to go bust as well.

Brian, although apparently persuing other career interests, will, I think, always be a part of the "paranormal investigation scene". It is a part of who he is.

Brian is raising a little family now, with the addition of his little daughter. His My Space page has not been updated very recently, and I hope that changes, because a good many of my readers want to know what is up with him.

What the public Says

(The woman in the picture of this segment is Brian's Fiance, Michelle (Not the woman he left TAPS for) In the polls that I have presented on my other Articles, I asked people what they thought about Brian Harnois. 80+ % of them thought he seemed like a great guy, despite his quirks, and 84% thought he should still be on either GH or GHI. That is a lot of people, my friends. It will be interesting to see how the new seasons of GH and GHI go without Brian, or Donna for that matter.

Here is your chance to be heard! I am forwarding this poll, Sept 1, to Brian, so let him know what you think in the poll below.

I too liked Brian...but lets face it..he was a quirky geek. Have you watched the show lately? Have you noticed they spend a lot more time with the two girl investigators? hAVE YOU NOTICED THE PLUNGING NECKLINE ON THE ONE GIRL? Have you noticed thre camera angles keep raising while she now often sits so the camera is looking down over her forhead to show her breasts?

While Brian may have been a fellow geek..shes what the fellow geeks want to watch! She now does the lead cap up in the car while they're traveling..mysteriously with a camera that must be facing down from her overhead visor..which convieniantly focuses on those ever more popping out breasts....its getting so thjat seems to be what they're actually investigating...to hell with ghost..we got an actual phenonmina here!

It was obvious to both me and my wife that Jason did not care for Brian. Whatever his reasons were he let them interfere with business. Brian was a little in awe of Jason and he even admitted that he was a bit intimidated by him. (He is a big and imposing sort of guy and I think he enjoys it, (doesn't that sound just like a BULLY?)) There is NO way I would have put up with the crap that they all dished out to Brian, especially Steve who Brian referred to as his "Bud, bro' and other friendly terms, just to have Steve STAB him in the back repeatedly upon Brians initial return to the group with Steve as his boss. I like the show, but I can't stand the underhanded and despicable way in which they treated Brian H. It definately changed my opinion towards J who I think pushes Grant around quite a bit too. I wanted to make a revision to my comment. I should not criticize Steve about his phobias, because everybody has phobias. I just feel that Steve should have been more considerate towards Brian. I did not mean to lash out at Steve, he knows his job and is a good member. If Brian was having trouble during the shows, then he should of been helped out more by the Ghost Hunter members.

They call it a Ghost Hunters family. I know in my family, we all have unconditional love for each other, even at our lowest points. I think with all the time Brian spent helping TAPS grow should of been considered. YOU NEVER LET A FAMILY MEMBER FALL! I know he was given a previous chance to change towards the better, but that should of made the other members realize that Brian needed more help then previously thought.

I think with Brian and Donna it would be a much better show. I hope they resolve all there differences and become a family again.

I thought they were to hard on Brian, especially Steve. At least Brian wasn't scared to fly to the case in Europe. He really did get a raw deal. I don't watch Ghost Hunters as much since he left the show and even less since Donna left the show. I don't even watch GHI anymore.

I guess I got sick of seeing somebody singled out and being made the example of, to me that is really un-american. I think if these shows did have Brian and Donna on them that they would have a better following. I definitely like Brian more than Steve. Steve kind of reminds me of a little bitch, because he has so many phobias.

I hope Brian and Donna's careers go really good and they start to have better success then in the past. I think they are both on the right road and will find the happiness they are looking for in there careers.
