You should begin prepping your skin at least a month before your portrait and/or wedding day. Stay consistent with your cleansing and moisturizing routines so your skin is not stressed, but smooth and flawless for your wedding photos.

Realize that choosing your makeup color palette is as important as choosing your dress. Don't try a new look the day of the wedding. Stay away from trends, and go for a natural look that enhances your beauty. Ask yourself, if you were to look back on your portrait 10 years later would you still think your makeup looks pretty. That's a good rule of thumb to follow to decide if the makeup and hair looks you're choosing will stand the test of time.

Get your hair done before your makeup to avoid coating your makeup with stray hairspray. Get plenty of rest and drink plenty of water so your eyes look bright and your skin looks beautiful in your photos.

Your complexion may be dewy, but matte skin photographs better since it doesn't interfere with the camera's flash.

For a flawless face, use concealer to cover any imperfections before applying your foundation. Try mixing your foundation with moisturizer for the sheerest, most natural coverage. Be sure to keep a facial highlighting pen handy. Applied over foundation, it helps brighten dark circles or shadowy areas of the face.

Finish with loose powder. Choose a shade closest to your skin tone, as translucent powders can drain the color from your face. Also stay away from powders with any glittery or pearly finishes.

Define your eyes in smoky shades of eyeliner, such as Deep Brown or Black, and apply lightly along the upper and lower lashes. Be sure to smudge and blend the eyeliner to keep your eyes looking soft and pretty.

For eye shadow, choose soft, neutral shades that enhance, not compete, with your natural eye color. Eye colors in pinks, tans, browns and peaches are neutral and flatter almost every skin tone.

For your finishing touch, apply mascara to make eyes really stand out. It's important not to apply too much mascara as it makes the eyes look smaller and can cast shadows over cheeks.

A shiny lip is always pretty in a portrait. Begin with lip primer to keep lipstick in its place and help prevent feathering and bleeding.

After applying the lip liner and lipstick, in natural tones, place a dab of clear lip gloss in the center of your bottom lip and smile. You're gorgeous!

For Eyes:
· Apply Silky Caramel on browbone and along the inner third of your lower lashes.
· Apply Hazelnut over the eyelid, and blend where it meets Silky Caramel.
· Apply Coal from lashes into crease, and blend with Hazelnut. Apply along lower lashline, and blend with Silky Caramel.
· Blend all well.
· Apply Black eyeliner to upper and lower lashline.
For Cheeks:
· Brush on Sparkling Cider cheek color for a delightful glow.
For Lips:
· Line lips with Neutral lip liner.
· Apply Shell lipstick.
· Finish with Cream & Sugar lip gloss

For Eyes:
· Apply Silky Caramel on browbone and along the inner third of your lower lashes.
· Apply Cinnabar over the eyelid, and blend where it meets Silky Caramel.
· Apply Sweet Plum from lashes into crease, and blend with Cinnabar. Apply along lower lashline, and blend with Silky Caramel.
· Blend all well.
· Apply Black eyeliner to upper and lower lashline.
For Cheeks:
· Brush on Cinnamon Stick cheek color for a delightful glow.
For Lips:
· Line lips with Dark Chocolate lip liner.
· Apply Downtown Brown lipstick.
· Finish with Starry lip gloss.

For Eyes:
· Apply Crystalline on browbone and along the inner third of your lower lashes.
· Apply Hazelnut over the eyelid, and blend where it meets Crystalline.
· Apply Vintage Gold from lashes into crease, and blend with Hazelnut.
· Apply along lower lashline, and blend with Crystalline.
· Blend all well.
· Apply Dark Brown eyeliner to upper and lower lashline.
For Cheeks:
· Blend Shy Blush cheek colors together for a delightful glow.
For Lips:
· Line lips with Neutral lip liner.
· Apply Frosted Rose lipstick.
· Finish with Cream & Sugar lip gloss.

For Eyes:
· Apply Silky Caramel on brow bone, lid and along the inner third of your lower lashes.
· Apply Raisin in crease starting at the outer corner and blend with Silky Caramel.
· Apply and blend Amber along top lashline and into outside half of crease.
· Apply along lower lashline and blend with Silky Caramel.
· Blend all well.
· Apply Bronze eyeliner to upper and lower lashline.
· Lightly brush Ultimate Mascara back and forth across upper lashes, starting at the base of the lashes and working out.
· For longer, thicker-looking lashes, reapply one or two additional coats. Let mascara dry between coats.
For Cheeks:
· Brush on Sparkling Cider cheek color for a delightful glow.
For Lips:
· Line lips with Coral lip liner.
· Apply Sunburst lipstick.
· Finish with Pink Diamonds lip gloss.

For Eyes:
· Apply Moonstone from lashline to browbone and along the inner third of your lower lashes.
· Apply Hazelnut over the eyelid, and blend where it meets Moonstone.
· Apply Chocolate Kiss from lashes into crease, and blend with Hazelnut. Apply along lower lashline, and blend with Moonstone.
· Blend all well.
· Apply Sable eyeliner to upper and lower lashline.
For Cheeks:
· Brush on Shy Blush for a delightful glow.
For Lips:
· Line lips with Neutral lip liner.
· Apply Dusty Rose lipstick.
· Finish with Cream & Sugar lip gloss.

For Eyes:
· Apply Spun Silk on browbone and along the inner third of your lower lashes.
· Apply Sienna over the eyelid, and blend where it meets Spun Silk.
· Apply Precious Pink from lashes into crease, and blend with Sienna. Apply along lower lashline, and blend with Precious Pink.
· Blend all well.
· Apply Bronze eyeliner to upper and lower lashline.
For Cheeks:
· Brush on Pink Petals cheek color for a delightful glow.
For Lips:
· Line lips with Neutral lip liner.
· Apply Dusty Rose lipstick.
· Finish with Natural lip gloss
