Bridesmaids is an absolutely hilarious comedy. Loved it, loved it, loved it. If you want a good laugh and a 'feel good' movie, this 2011 American comedy has it all. Written by Annie Mumolo and Kristen Wiig, directed by Paul Feig and produced by Judd Apatow, Barry Mendel, and Clayton Townsend, Bridesmaids was released by Universal Pictures on May 13, 2011. Bridesmaids stars Kristen Wiig as Annie Walker whose life is not going very well after the cake store she opened during the recession went bankrupt. The competition between Annie and Helen Harris, the bride's new close friend, provides a series of funny and antagonistic events. Both Annie and Helen are trying very hard to outdo each other during their preparations for Lillian's wedding. Instead of making this whole experience enjoyable for all including Lillian, they manage to ruin all the events including the trip to Las Vegas and the Wedding shower.
