Briggs and Stratton Replacement Engines

Briggs and Stratton engines power a large amount of lawn mowers and snowblowers. The closet competitor to them is Tecumseh engines. Both are good quality engines but like any mechanical device, they can break down, blown up, or just stop working in general. You have a 3 options when this happens:

1. Buy a new lawn mower or snowblower
2. Repair or overhaul the Engine
3. Replace the engine outright.

Buying a new mower or snow blower may be expensive, and can you really afford the expense in this economy?

Engine overhauls can be done, but you really need to be comfortable pulling things apart, getting dirty, and putting things back together again and hoping they work! This can be done cheaper than buying a new engine if you do it yourself.
