What will Brigitte Bardot be remembered for?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byHer many contributions to film as a French actress, and as a fashion model and singer.
poddys says:
Mostly I think she will be remembered for her role as an actress, at least outside of France where her animal rights work has hardly penetrated.
Of course you rarely hear of her these days, her old movies never seem to get shown on tv in the USA.

As an animal welfare / rights activist for sure!
JaguarJulie says:
And, likewise, Brigitte Bardot has made significant contributions on behalf of animal rights -- although at times controversial, she has made an impact probably unexpected of a former French 'sex' kitten!

- I was watching a travel programme about Canne and of course Brigitte was featured. I realised that my 10 year old daughter had never even heard of her. It is strange how she was so famous and still is, but managed to step out of the limelight.

- Very nice lens Julie as a tribute to this fine actress. 5***** I know 20 years ago she had already lost her looks, I imagine by now she must be in her 70's.
