Great Ideas that make you say, now why didn't I think of that?
Have you ever a new invention, or a business that made you stop and think: "Now why didn't I think of that?" It happens to me all the time. I see a brilliant creative idea, that someone has taken and run with, creating a business that makes them millions of dollars. Or maybe it is just an idea that they have used to create something that is so useful for all that use it, something simple in design but incredibly helpful. Then there are those things that are just fun for everyone.
Lets take a look at some of them on this site.
I would love to have your input below on any business, internet website, invention, toy or ways to "go green" and help save our planet.

Clever Ideas for Children
Clever Ideas for Children
I really loved this one too:
Someone created a free website where you have your children go to write letters or emails to Santa, and they get answered! How sweet is that. They have a lot of other free games and Santa webcams. Just a lot of fun for your family!
Now why didn't I think of that?
A letter to Santa Claus? Yes kids its true! Jolly Saint Nick wants to hear about you! From the North Pole Santa will send his reply... Faster than Rudolph the reindeer can fly! Merry Christmas!
Clever Ideas for Scrap Bookers
Clever Ideas for Scrap Bookers
Scrapbooking can be so much fun, but sometimes those that do it just don't get enough visitors to show off what they have created and share those memories with loved ones that are far away.
This company created a wonderful tool for traditional and new technology scrapbooking. You can make a beautiful scrapbook an interactive memory experience for anyone who sees it. With simple one-click options to enhance your scrapbooks, with music, narration, video, and even the Internet. You can go a few steps beyond simple photos by showing off video of the birthday party, or record a narration to capture the memories that pictures alone cannot. With My Memories Suite you simply don't look at a scrapbook-you experience it and share it across the miles.

Clever ideas for the Ice Fisher Person
Now when I read that someone created this invention for ice fishermen, I thought it was extremely clever. The Ice fishing enthusiasts in many areas can fish more than one hole in the ice at a time. Because of that someone created an invention that is just perfect to let them know when they have a bite or "fish on" their line.
A simple tool that pops up a flag, almost like saying "Ta Daa", when they get a bite.
It actually is more humane to the fish too, they don't have to wait so long on the hook

Great Ideas in Emerging Technologies
Great Ideas in Emerging Technologies
Now I am sure all of us have thought "Why didn't I think of that?" when we look at the big Internet Giants, like Google, Amazon, and Ebay for examples.
Google started with a simple search engine, added advertisers, adsense affiliates, google chrome, the google wave, igoogle on phones. Everyone uses the terminology "I googled him/her". Have you "googled yourself"? Google has become a household name.
Have you ever seen the Google workplace, boy I would love to work there. I am going to add a video below to show you exactly how rough it is to work for google!
Did you know a lot of the money made here at Squidoo is through the google ads run on the sides of your webpages?

Amazon
is another one, who in the world would have thought that something that started out as a simple book selling sight would expand into a household name that we all know and trust with our online purchases and sales.
What can we learn from them?
Building a good reputation, be trustworthy in your business adventures.
Advertise: get your business name out there, and create a name that is simple, catchy and easy to remember!
Invite others to join you. Those at Amazon and Ebay invite their users to join in the profits, through affiliates, sellers and even the buyers that get great deals.

Ebay
Do you remember when you first discovered Ebay?
You were a little weary if you were like me. But soon you learned how to make ebay work right for you. As a seller it was important to be honest, reputable, and have good products.
As a seller it is important to do your homework, read the entire product and shipping information. Check out the sellers reputation and scores. Read their feedback, you will learn a lot. Be wary of anything suspicious. Use paypal for they help guarantee your satisfaction.
