OK! so first off how could you not LOVE LOVE LOVE!! the music?

80's music had so much more life and fun to it...from rockin out to Gypsy road and Metal Queen to the top ballads like Warrant's- Heaven and Faster Pussycat's- House of pain.
Tom Keifer (Cinderella front man) has a voice that cannot be touched. How i wish that i could see him play still if i could..mmmmmmmmmm...oh my... well anyhow back on topic i guess.
Music just isn't the same anymore....what happened to it? We used to rock, bang our heads and mosh..now we shake our asses and throw up gang signs and shit. Don't get me wrong the eighties had some shit and guilty pleasures.. crap like tiffany spawned britney spears. Noone should have ever given her a record deal. My number one guilty pleasure is (i am wincing as i write this) Corey Heart. Especially "Sunglasses at night". I cant help it, i hear that song and i want to snap my fingers and throw my arms back and forth.
You can't argue with the powerfull songs, the amazing voices, fucked up hair. I would love an eighties revival, i havent heard a single band that has come close to even touching the awesomeness of eighties rock.
It is sad to see how some of the mighty have fallen though. Lee aaron just came to my home town and played a show in the sleaziest bar in town for $10. 50 people went, she played a wicked show, only a few jazz songs. What happened? She was the "metal queen" and she now she comes to a sleazy small nothin town and plays a skeevy bar for probably like a couple hundred bucks. Meanwhile no talented bastards like kanye west and nickelback are charging hundreds for their shows and not really doin anything at all. The youth is going to hell for one reason and one reason only.
I blame it on the "scene" The new age scene with the part emo, part rapper part something kids, killing the music scene and you get people like lady gaga comin in cock swingin singing songs that i dont understand, takin up radio air time and i can only listen to good radio music when the have the lost 80's lunch. i tell ya, it is some bull-ish.
If you don't know the 80's then man you gotta learn and you came to the right place, i will give you a loooooooooooong ass list of the raddest bands. Go online and use limewire or whatever and download. Alot of them are a little hard to find in stores, cuz now you have to order from private distributors to get anything decent and original. NO REMIXES, NO ROBOT VOICES, JUST 100% RATT AND ROLL!!!
