Britax Car Seat Cover

First I am going to start with the Roundabout model. The Roundabout has been Britax's best seller for many years now and is considered one of the safest seats on the market.

Having owned the Britax roundabout you will know that you have the one of the best seats on the market, so just because the cover is worn, stained or wrong colour for your child, there is no need to buy a new car seat just check out the fantastic cover below which I cannot recommend highly enough.

This seat cover makes your Britax Roundabout look like new. The soft velour material along the sides and a smooth material that is easy to clean.There is elastic all around the perimeter that keeps the seat cover snug on the seat. It is pretty much as pictured. It is plush and well-padded, and very comfortable for your baby. The fabric also seems better than the original cover and best of all it is machine washable!

The marathon is ideal for a person with a 'roomier car'. Although it's a little bigger than the Roundabout it has better side impact. Your Marathon seat will last you for years but your cover may not, these thick padded covers will make travel comfortable for your baby/toddler and is also fully machine washable.

These Britax Car Seat Covers cost between $60 - $80 depending on what you colour and design you want. These are slightly higher in price due to the larger car seat size.

The Britax Boulevard car seat features deep side walls and head support with true advanced protection in side impact collisions. Known as the marathon's cousin this is also a good but stronger car seat.

Again these britax car seat covers are well padded, machine washable and very easy to fit. This very strong fabric is a nice tight fit and will have your baby catching flies before you reach the bottom of the road

These covers are also between $60 - $80 depending on what you choose, as this one does have the 'cowmooflage set'. I'm sure you've already guessed what that one looks like!

The Diplomat is a follow on from the Boulevard but what I see as the new Roundabout. Ideal for small cars, a must have if you need multiple car seats in one vehicle.

The fabric on this cover is extremely soft, but not too soft that you have to worry about spills soaking through. With the car seat being more snug and petite it makes the padding feel exceptional!

In my opinion if you haven't yet bought a carseat I recommend the Roundabout as all the cover sets and other accessories are cheaper and the car seat is just as good quality. I could have written endlessly on this subject but I don't like a bore people I just wanted to give the advice you needed to choose you cover.

There are many other car seat cover sets, themed covers and also the waterproof covers. From the reviews I've read these waterproof covers are tested and do work. I can't make my mind up if this is a good or bad idea. put yourself in this scenario, you're on a long journey and your child has an accident. The seat doesn't absorb so your childs sat in her own mess and she's getting impatient and wriggly. Next minute the mess is splashing out of the car seat and there's nothing you can do. You may be laughing but seriously this could be a disastrous moment!
