Getting married in September 2004 to former back-up dancer Kevin Federline, Britney is now a wife and the proud mother of a baby boy!

As a kid, Britney Spears performed anywhere she could - at church, school and local TV stations. It wasn't long before Britney Spears started gaining major attention. Britney audtioned for the Mickey Mouse Club when she was eight years old. The producers of the show thought Britney Spears was too young for the show but they helped hook her up with an agent. From there, Brit went on to star in off-Broadway shows and eventually landed the Mickey Mouse Club gig when she was 11. It wasn't until Britney auditioned for an all-girl singing group that she was offered a record deal as a solo artist - and the rest is pop history.

Since the release of her debut album, ...Baby One More Time, in 1999, Britney has dominated the pop world. She's released five albums, several DVDs and even starred in her own feature-length movie - Crossroads. Despite the pressures of living under the public microscope, Britney Spears has managed to keep a fairly calm head and build herself into somewhat of an industry. Not only is she a singing superstar, she's also delved into the world of fashion and beauty with the release of her own perfume, Curious and Fantasy.

She started out as a sweet, innocent southern belle, but as she rose in stardom, things got a little complicated for Britney Spears. Britney lived through a highly-publicized romance with Justin Timberlake for a few years, and then survived an even more publicized break-up. Rumors that Brit had cheated on Justin were fuelled by Justin's Cry Me a River video, in which he cast a Britney Spears look-a-like to play the role of a cheating girlfriend. Britney still managed to come out on top. On September 18, 2004, Ms. Spears became Mrs. Federline when she married her former backup dancer, Kevin Federline. The two lovebirds honeymooned in various places including Fiji! On September 14, 2005, Britney and Kevin had a baby boy, who they named Sean Preston. That's right - Brit's ditched her school-girl uniform for a stroller and diaper bag!
