Britney: For The Record Review

Released during her "Circus" era, Britney: For The Record is a documentary where the famous Britney Spears finally shows the world what she has been doing during the troublesome time in her life. Before this documentary she shaved her head, went into rehab, had a shaky vma performance, hung out with paparazzi, attacked a paparazzi car with an umbrella and just did not act like the Britney Spears we all know. This documentary is her way of finally telling the world what is going on and to answer all of those questions everyone wants to ask.

My Review

I watched Britney: For The Record when it aired on MTV for the first time. I enjoyed the documentary because it was the first time in years that Britney Spears did an interview and talked about her life. I was excited to get to see behind the scenes footage and listen to Britney talk about things that everyone had been talking about but her.

The plus side of the documentary is that we get to see that Britney understands that she has made mistakes and is trying to make her life better. The downside is, there was a lot left unanswered. I personally think that is fine since most of her life is in the public anyways. She, like everybody else, needs her personal space. But to some people, it is not enough. I think she answered vaguely because of 2 reasons.

1. She does not know the answers completely herself. She is still confused and trying to find her normalcy again.

2. She does not want people knowing every small detail that happens in her life. People can know she is okay and things are fine without having to know everything.

Britney laughs, cries, and admits to things she has never admitted to before. You get to see what kinds of things she deals with from day to day, and what mindset she is in.

Madonna also makes an appearance.

If you like Britney Spears, don't like Britney Spears, or just want to know what is going on in her life lately without all of the tabloid mess - Britney: For The Record is a good choice.

When all the craziness was going on I felt quite sorry for her. The life has its perks but it most definitely has its downside. I can't imagine not being able to blink without someone knowing it. She's come through a big hurdle and I have my fingers crossed for her. Great review.

It is true, what was she really thinking? Anxiety can cause a lot of pressure which can lead to depression. I have not watched the documentary but I remember when I was watching on the news Britney Shaving her head. This was clearly an action by someone who felt totally in need of escape from what they were controlled of. That's the symbolic meaning behind the action.

She simply wanted the paparazzi away and with that she gave them an angry ''look'' to feed on.

I am really pleased that Britney has recovered and even though I am no big fun of Britney I see her for what she is. A talented girl that has a lot of people who take advantage of her.
She knows that and I can relate why she may feel as unhappy.

My prediction would be of a Britney anyone would love to see again, I do not believe that this is all of the good she can show in this documentary; there is more to come.

It's very cool to see her version of the story. People should stop judging her. She's a nice girl who passed through some really crazy stories, but she's not a crazy/stoned girl. She's normal people, she's a human, and all of us make mistakes. But (thank's god) not everyone has an 24 hour camera around. Just think. LOVE YOU BRITT, Brazil loves you too

I love her. She's such a smart girl, and she must have a really hard life, but she is going through it. She's the most beautifull woman in the world.
