Oops!...I Did It Again
The 1st Single off of Britney's 2nd Album
"Oops!... I Did It Again" is the first single from Britney Spears' second studio album Oops!... I Did It Again. It was released on March 27, 2000. Written and produced by Max Martin and Rami Yacoub, the track's musical style was strongly similar to many songs that appeared on her debut album ...Baby One More Time and its lyrics refer to love as a game. The song received predominately positive reviews from pop music critics and was nominated at the 43rd Grammy Awards in the category of "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance". "Oops!" is generally perceived as one of Spears' signature songs by the media and the general public. "Oops!...I Did It Again" Music Video
The music video starts with a brief scene of an astronaut on Mars finding a stone slate with her second album on it. A scientist, back on Earth, sees it through the video transmitter and says, "Cute. What is it?" The astronaut replies, "Oh, it's cute alright. It couldn't be..." After this, the ground begins to shake and Spears appears on a stage as the music begins. During the bridge section of the song, Spears does a flip through the air to where the astronaut is and appears in a white jacket, short black leather skirt, and matching leather boots. The astronaut then gives the "Heart of the Ocean," the jeweled necklace from the 1997 film Titanic, to Spears, as a symbol of his love for her. She wonders where he found it, saying, "But I thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean in the end," to which he replies, "Well, baby, I went down and got it for you." The dialogue is in the song as well as the video. However, she shows no acts of affection towards him, by just saying, "Oh, you shouldn't have." The heartbroken astronaut shrugs and walks off. The dance continues, at one point, the astronaut is seen moonwalking. The command center on earth moves to the music coming through on the transmission from Mars. The music video talks about love and playing with somebody's heart. The video also features clips of Spears in a short white top and skirt, lying barefoot on a white pad with dancers on the ground around her. During these scenes, she is singing to the astronaut, whom she has suspended in mid-air above her.
Lucky
The 2nd Single from Oops!...I Did It Again
Lucky was released on July 7, 2000 as the second single from Oops! I Did It Again. The song was written and produced by Max Martin and Rami Yacoub, Alexander Kronlud co-wrote the song; it was also produced by Martin and Yacoub. Lyrically, "Lucky" and is about a famous star, who despite being very "lucky" and seemingly having it all - fame, wealth, beauty and so on - is truly lonely on the inside. "Lucky" Music Video
The music video for Lucky starts out with Britney as a narrator of a play showing the life of a very famous Hollywood actress, named Lucky (also played by Britney). The narrator Britney, wearing pink top and green pants, says, "This is the story about a girl named Lucky." The curtains then part to reveal a big billboard with Lucky's picture on it and the words "Lucky in Top of the World." On this billboard, is the narrator Britney, now wearing a red top with white pants. Throughout the video, we see Lucky, wearing a fancy pink nightgown with fluffy white cotton balls attached to the edges, inside her mansion and shots of her out on the balcony too. As beautiful and rich as she is, we see her about a set, as she is acting, looking quite distressed. Through this scene, the narrator Britney also sits above in the "stars," wearing a bright pink dress with black pants and throwing down glittery sparkles. Next, Lucky opens the door to reveal a handsome man, who then takes her in his arms, as the director yells, "Cut! We've got it." Lucky then walks off-set, replying to the director, "Finally! We've done it fifty-million times!" She then goes to have her hair and makeup done; with the narrator Britney standing unnoticed and very worried looking by her side. We then see Lucky in a shiny gray evening gown at the Academy Awards accepting her Oscar ("Best actress, and the winner is Lucky!"). Lucky looks very, very happy as she accepts the Oscar and smiles at her fans, but this is not true happiness. She makes her way away from her screaming fans and back into her limo, where she unexpectedly finds an ornate hand mirror that both she and Spears had handled on the film set. She looks back to the crowd to see who has left it, and the narrator Britney leans forward in the crowd, this time wearing a fancy black top and matching pants. Lucky's fans crowd in and the limo doors close before she manages to catch a glimpse of Britney. The limo drives away, leaving Britney behind on the red carpet and both girls become distressed once again. The video ends with Lucky crying herself to sleep, her make-up already stained on her face. The curtains close, ending the video.
Stronger
The 3rd Single From Oops!...I Did It Again
"Stronger" is the third single from Oops!... I Did It Again. It was released on November 13, 2000. The song was written and produced by frequent collaborators Max Martin and Rami in 1999. There is an allusion to "...Baby One More Time": "...my loneliness ain't killing me no more". "Stronger" Music Video
The video begins with a closed caption that reads "Britney Spears - Stronger", amidst the sound of a storm. It then cuts to a close up of Britney looking at her boyfriend, who is smiling with another woman holding him. She realizes she is better without him and walks away, after saying, "Whatever," to the audience. There is a shot of the tower they were in, in an apparent semi-futuristic world. At the beginning of the first chorus, Britney starts dancing with an Emeco 1006 chair in front of a black background. The second half of the video finds Britney driving away from the party in a classic Ford Mustang during a thunderstorm; however, before long, her car goes into a spin out, then stops on the very edge of the bridge. After recovering from the shock of it, she's forced to continue walking on in the rain. Cuts of her dancing with a cane, transformed from the chair, are also included. The video ends with Britney walking across a bridge.

"I'm a Slave 4 U" Music Video
The music video was shot on a soundstage in Universal City, California, over Labor Day weekend, under the direction of Francis Lawrence, and is one of her most risqué videos ever. It made its world premiere on MTV's "Making the Video" on September 24 at 5 p.m. EST, the same day the song officially hit the American radio stations, and debuted at #1 on Total Request Live two days later. They find Britney dancing around and joke about it, before heading into a heavy dance routine. These walls move in and out before the video ends, signifying that she is "overprotected". At the end of the video, Britney walks to a wall, exiting the building. In the video Spears uses clothes of the Argentine company/signature "Kosiuko". She decided to use these clothes in her video because she felt it was tasteful. She ended up stepping out and kicking ass."

Me Against the Music
"Me Against the Music" Music Video
The video starts with Britney parking her sports car and going into a New York nightclub. She enters a wooden room populated with 'cool kids' flaunting pink and purple hair while taking whiffs from an oxygen tank. Madonna, who is in a room filled with men smoking cigars, observes her from television monitors throughout the club. She wears a white trouser suit and carries a cane, signifying a position of moneyed power. Her suit is also notably fitted, especially in the waistcoat, revealing Madonna's body to be female and not masculine. Although the areas are separated by a wall, Spears and Madonna sense their presences through extrasensory perception and dance in synchronicity.
This is followed with Spears performing a dance routine inside a blacklight paint graffiti room, and the two women dancing around a metal bedframe. Spears then begins chasing Madonna in a wooden-like maze, and the latter enters a room covered with fallen leaves and stands in a swing. Once Spears finds the room, Madonna is nowhere to be found. Throughout the video, Madonna gradually loses her symbolic power, paralleled by her disposing the cane and jacket, becoming less phallic and more noticeably female biologically and more feminine socially. Although it ultimately seems that Spears becomes the dominant figure, Madonna recovers her phallic power in the form of a cigar from an onlooking male. Spears appears in Madonna's room and throws her against the wall, and Madonna vanishes just as they are about to kiss. The video ends as Madonna's laugh is heard in the background.

Toxic
Britney's Second Single Off of In The Zone
"Toxic" Music Video
The music video begins with an open shot of an airplane flying surrounded by many doves, referencing the works of Hong Kong director John Woo. Spears appears with blond hair dressed as a flight attendant, receiving a phone call. After serving some of the passengers, she leads a bald overweight man to the bathroom and seduces him. She takes off the man's mask to reveal an attractive man (Matthew Felker) and steals a black pass from his pocket. Spears is then dropped into the back of a Ducati 999, driven by a shirtless male (Tyson Beckford) in a futuristic Paris, that was compared to the 1982 film Blade Runner. She wears a tight black catsuit and sports red hair, inspired by the character of Sydney Bristow from television series Alias. They pass a woman and lift up her dress, an homage to the iconic Marilyn Monroe scene in the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch. They also pass two women frolicking in a store window.
Throughout the video, there are scenes of Spears naked covered in diamonds. The look was compared to that of Kate Bush in the music video for her 1978 single, "The Man with the Child in His Eyes". Spears then enters Toxic Industries, and gains access to a vault from which she steals a vial of green poison. She accidentally triggers a laser trap when she leaves that she evades with elaborate dance moves, including a back handspring. This is followed by scenes of Spears wearing a black superheroine outfit and black hair. She scales a building and enters an apartment, where her unfaithful boyfriend (Martin Henderson) is waiting. She kisses him just before pouring the poison into his mouth, killing him. Spears kisses him again and jumps out of the window. She lands back on the plane sporting her flight attendant outfit, and winks at the camera. The video closes with a shot of the airplane flying surrounded by doves like the beginning
