You are funny. We just need to have empathy and sympathy for all those poor people with broken toes. (From: The Other Joan)

I had a broken toe in college. You are correct about buddy taping. After positioning the baby toe correctly, they simply taped it to the fourth toe.

I've had more broken fingers than toes. By now I'm sure you have had time to heal so I hope you don't do it again.

Good heavens! I've never had a broken bone so far ( touching wood). Hope the toe is better now, and congratulations on the pruple star.

Many years ago I was hurrying around barefoot in the basement and I ran into the concrete base on a wood support beam. My little toe ended up a sharp right angle to the rest of my toes. I concur with your view of not going to the Dr. I did; but also realized that I could have spared the time and money by just taping it up myself. I know how painful it can be. Loved the way you turned it into a learning tool with your son. 5 unbroken toes and some socializing.

Sorry to hear about your broken toe -- hope it gets well soon. As for the lens itself, informative and nicely put together so far. By the way I loved the little humor back there on the 'Critique Me..'-platform. 5*

Great topic and I do hope it gets better soon. Trouble with toes - you can't do much about it when they get broken but ouch! It sure hurts.

I hope your toe feels better soon. I'm not sure if I've ever broken mine, but they sure hurt like heck when I trip over chair legs.

I don't know if I've broken any toes or not - I've certainly had them stepped on by various horses. I broke my finger falling off a horse but didn't bother to get it fixed. It's crooked and lumpy 22 years later. Interesting topic for a lens and a great basis for a home-ed lesson!
