What is Bronchitis?
Because of the irritation and inflammation of the mucous membrane, the body produces large amounts of mucus in the lungs. This in turn causes difficulty in breathing and persistent coughs which can sometime be painful. The coughs may last for several days and even weeks.
Excessive coughing will sometime bring some of the excessive phlegm up to the throat. Just spit it out so that you do not swallow it back into your body.

Bronchitis
There are 2 Types of Bronchitis
Chronic and Acute Bronchitis
Serious lung problems are usually the cause of chronic bronchitis. Patients suffering from persistent cough that lasts for several months on end and recurs yearly are said to have chronic bronchitis.
Acute Bronchitis is recognized as a cough and the production of phlegm which may be accompanied by symptoms such as shortness of breath and wheezing, as well as a mild fever in some cases. Acute bronchitis commonly occurs after an upper respiratory infection such as a cold, influenza, or a sinus infection. For this reason, you may also experience other symptoms such as muscle aches, nasal congestion, and a sore throat in addition to bronchitis symptoms.

How to Diagnose Bronchitis
Usually bronchitis clears itself up in a few weeks. Usually a visit to the doctor is not necessary unless you feel pain and the symptoms persists. Treatment for acute and chronic bronchitis are also different and you should know what kind of bronchitis you are suffering from.If you suffer lots of pain from bronchitis or experience high fever and notice blood in your phlegm then you should not wait to see your doctor. Your doctor will usually use a stethoscope to listen your chest and breathing or may also suggest a chest x-ray and other tests to check for bacterias in your phlegm.
Symptoms of Bronchitis

Symptoms may include:
> runny nose, usually before a cough starts
> malaise (an overall body discomfort or not feeling well)
> chills

Natural Treatment for Bronchitis
how to cure bronchitis
Mild cases of Bronchitis resolve themselves without the need of any medical treatment. Ample rest, drinking lots of water and avoiding alcohol, smoke and allergens will help the body to heal itself.
You should drink lots of warm water and get lots of sleep and rest.

Cough medicines can also help in reducing the stickiness of the phlegm and also loosen it from the walls of the wind pipes.
I would recommend taking Triple Complex BronchoSoothe which is a homeopathic remedy that provides respiratory support for tight chests.
I have personally used this natural remedy and have found it to be the most effective treatment I have used.

- I wonder if allergy can give mild triggers to cough, cold and bronchitis. Pollen grains and allergic compounds have their share of grievances which result in coughing too.
