We love "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?"

"Brown Bear, Brown Bear...?" This part of the book is playing through my head right now as I type this because I have read this book over and over again to my son, well actually, to both of my sons. The weird thing is that I don't mind the words being stuck in my head because they bring back tons of memories of happy times I've shared with my kids. There's nothing better than cuddling up with your toddler and reading or singing this book to him or her.

Sometimes my son sits still in my lap and listens intently, sometimes he chooses to dance while I sing the words. Sometimes he'll point to the pictures and name the colors, sometimes the animals, sometimes he starts telling his own story about one of the animals. Even though this book is simple, with repetitive words, there's an endless opportunity to build on the story and add activities to the story to emphasis a new skill to your toddler.

Simply put, We love "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?"!

Never heard of such books but seem to be excellent for kids - especially in school for extra activities, we often look for original and new materials. Although this seems to have celebrated their 40th birthday, I definitely like the books and will speak about them to the head master, whenever we can find them in French.

Sounds like an adorable book....repetition does indeed work well...look at Dr. Seuss, he knew how to use this to get kids to remember. And your Toddler is adorable.....just have to Bless this lens for all the Toddlers and Mothers looking for cute things to teach their kids.
