RRRock Mellllllt !!!!!!!

Finally , rock is comeback home .. ....
nnnnn! I'm just joking this time we have the WOWser "Rockmelt" it simply incredible !
This newest version of RockMelt comes shortly on the heels of the announcement that Flock, a pioneer in social networking Web browsers and RockMelt's main competition, would stop development and be acquired by game developer Zynga. So, on the one hand, RockMelt has the market mainly to itself, but is it one that they can survive in?
While the long-term survival of browsers geared towards social networking is still up in the air, by itself RockMelt is still an interesting product that is very attractive to those users who spend a lot of time on Facebook.
As before, RockMelt still offers a nice integrated interface that makes it easy to view Facebook friends' updates, share any Web content that you are viewing, and keep track of updates on websites and Twitter. And RockMelt is still based on the Google Chrome Web browser, meaning that browsing experience is fast and generally very good.
While the older version of RockMelt did a good job of making Facebook content accessible, it wasn't perfect. For example, carrying out multiple chats within RockMelt could quickly become a confusion of open windows.
In the latest version, chats in RockMelt work like they do in Facebook itself, meaning that if you open multiple chats, boxes for each will display at the bottom of the screen. This is a welcome change, both for its similarity to Facebook and for the easier chat management that it brings.
One new feature in RockMelt that I found to be very useful is called View Later. This adds a small clock icon to the address bar and, if you click on this while viewing a Web page, it makes it very easy to, well, view the page later.
Clicking on the View Later app in the right-hand bar of RockMelt displayed a list of all the pages I had marked to view later. From here I could easily open the pages or share them in Facebook or Twitter. And a page can be easily removed from View Later simply by clicking on the clock icon either in the address bar or in the pop-up View Later window.
Twitter integration, which was pretty barebones in the original version, has also been updated in the latest version of RockMelt. Now it works more like a full-fledged Twitter client, making it possible to do tasks such as handle direct messages and edit retweets.
Besides the new features in this beta, some other new capabilities were added since the last review. These included a new YouTube app that made it possible to view videos and channels directly from the right-hand bar of RockMelt.
I also realized that the constant pop-ups that RockMelt displays whenever a new status update is published by a friend can be very distracting. Luckily, I found that these notifications could be turned off from within the browser options window in the Edges section.
For many users, the functionality of RockMelt won't seem to be much of a value-add over standard browsers and could even be too distracting. However, for those who are heavy Facebook users, RockMelt might be the perfect tool for surfing the Web without ever getting too far from the social network.
Google Chrome 17
February 14, 2012
Google takes aim squarely at Microsoft with the release of its new Web browser, Chrome 17. Even though it isn't jam-packed with features, Chrome lives up to its hypeby rethinking the Web browser in clever and convenient ways that make using the Web a more organic experience than you'd get with either Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Mozilla's Firefox.Initially available for download for Windows Vista, 7 and XP, Google plans to expand its Chrome offerings to the Mac and Linux platforms as well. The company doesn't offer any timeline for these versions, though.Chrome automatically detects the Web browser you're using and prompts you through the process of installation (right down to telling you how to access downloaded files within Firefox, for example). When you first run the application, Chrome imports your bookmarks, passwords, and settings from Firefox or Internet Explorer. It even can grab username and password data, and it automatically populates those fields for you when you use Chrome for the first time to visit a particular site.
After running through a quick import checklist, Chrome opens on your desktop--and right away you begin to experience the Web in a new way. Chrome's layout is very simple: You'll see a row of tabs running along the top, a Web address bar, and a bookmarks bar that runs beneath the address bar. A separate recent-bookmarks box appears at the right of the screen.
Like its Google stablemates, Chrome has a remarkably minimalist interface. There is no full-scale menu bar and no title bar--and few distractions. All controls are buried beneath two icons to the right of the Omnibar (as Google refers to its address bar): a page icon for managing tabs and using Google Gears to create application-like shortcuts from your desktop to a Web site; and a wrench for history, downloads, and other browser options.

NetScape 9
AOL has released a new of Netscape Navigator - Speed, Flexibility and More Security Choices Than Any Other Browser. Based on Firefox, the Netscape Browser options and interface are similar, but brought to a superior level of accessibilty by filling some of the Firefox gaps, such as tabbed browsing, context menus and menu bars. The new Netscape Browser test build runs on two different browsing engines: the Mozilla Foundation's Gecko engine, which powers up the Mozilla, Firefox and older Netscape browsers, and Microsoft's Internet Explorer engine.Since Navigator 9 is based on the newest Mozilla ® technologies, there are additional features in Navigator 9 that were not available in Netscape Browser 8.x. You can read about those new features in these release notes from Mozilla.
Netscape Navigator 9.0 is a browser-only release. It does not contain an e-mail client, newsgroup reader, or HTML composer.
The following features are new and unique to Netscape Navigator 9:
%u2022 Visual Refresh. Netscape Navigator 9's theme has been updated to save screen-space and leave more room for the websites you visit.
%u2022 URL Correction. Navigator 9 will automatically correct common typos in URLs. For example, if you accidentally type googlecom, Navigator will fix it be to google.com. The browser will watch for nearly 30 different types of common mistakes and correct them for you (asking you to confirm, if you choose to enable confirmation). No more .cmo, .ogr, or htp:// !
%u2022 News Menu and Sidebar. The latest news is built right into the browser, under the News menu. Provided by Netscape.com, you can customize the menu to only contain the news sections you want to monitor. You can also open the News sidebar to always keep an eye on what's happening.
%u2022 Link Pad. The Link Pad is a new sidebar feature that allows you to save links/URLs that you want to visit later without cluttering your bookmarks. Just drag a link over the Link Pad status bar icon and drop it to save it in the Link Pad. By default, clicking on an item in the Link Pad will open it in the browser and remove it from the list, saving you the step of deleting it.
%u2022 News Tracker. The Netscape Tracker sidebar lets you monitor breaking news as it happens, via Netscape.com.
%u2022 In-browser voting. Share your opinions with the world! The icons in the Navigator address bar let you share interesting stories you find and vote on stories shared by others.
%u2022 Extension Compatibility. Navigator 9 shares an architecture with the latest Mozilla technologies; as such, Navigator 9 will let you install extensions that are compatible with Firefox ® 2.
%u2022 Sidebar Mini Browser. You've always been able to have bookmarks open in the sidebar, but we've improved this functionality and extended it to all links, not just bookmarks. Additionally, we've added a navigation toolbar to the sidebar for even easier split-screened browsing. Just right-click on a link and select "Open Link in Sidebar" to get started!
%u2022 Restart Netcape. A smalll but oft-requested feature: you can now restart Navigator (and keep your current tabs intact) by selecting "Restart Navigator" from the File menu.
%u2022 Resizeable Textarea. Drag the bottom-right corners of text fields in forms to add more typing space.
%u2022 Tab History. Opening a link in a new tab will give the new tab the same history as the source tab for a more seamless tabbed browsing experience.
%u2022 OPML Support. Netscape Navigator supports importing and exporting your bookmarks in OPML, a popular format for sharing lists of newsfeeds.
%u2022 Throbber. By popular demand, the Netscape 7-style throbber is back. Click on it any time to visit Netscape.com.
%u2022 Combined Stop/Reload button. To save space in your toolbar, we've combined the stop and reload buttons. Because you never need both at the same time, the toolbar will only show the relevant half of the pair.
%u2022 Friends' Activity Sidebar. If you are a member at Netscape.com, you can keep tabs on what your friends find interesting. This sidebar lets you view your friends latest votes, comments, and story submissions.
%u2022 Sitemail Notification. This icon will sport an exclamation point when you have new Netscape.com sitemail messages waiting for you.
Changes in in Netscape Navigator 9.0.0.3:
* Bug 400406 - Firefox will ignore the "clear" CSS property when used beneath a box that is using the "float" property. There is a temporary workaround JS/CSS code available for web developers with affected layouts.
* Bug 400467 - Windows Vista users will get "Java not found" or "Java not working" errors when trying to load Java applets after updating. To fix this, users can right-click the Firefox icon and "Run as administrator", then browse to a page with a Java applet - doing this once will fix the problem and permanently restore Java functionality.
* Bug 396695 - Add-ons are disabled after updating. Users can fix this problem by opening their profile folder and removing three files (extensions.rdf, extensions.ini and extensions.cache)
* Bug 400421 - Removing a single area element from an image map will cause the entire map to disappear. There is no workaround available at this time.
* Bug 400735 - Some Windows users may experience crashes at startup. There is no workaround available at this time.
