The History Of Posters
Traditionally the uses of the poster as we know it today was for propaganda and commercial media. Posters are main stream and have had a massive appeal. This has been proven time and time again by advertisements of the charitable, entertainment and political nature
Lithography, a method by which the printing surface was built of a flat piece of stone etched with acid to create a surface that transferred ink to paper; the stone has now been replaced, in most cases, with a metal plate. In the 1860's this technology catapulted the poster art into prominent existence
Bruce Lee posters live up to the general concept of the original poster. The artist is advanced, can be seen from a distance and comprehensible at a glance. The colors are bold and as a rule there is minimum lettering.

Year of The Dragon
The story behind the man and persona depicted on Bruce lee posters was not very complex. Like Bruce himself, his life seemed to have had a sense of fluidity from the very start.
He was born Lee Jun Fan, on November 27, 1940 (year of the dragon), in San Francisco, California.
Bruce got his first role in film at only three months old as a stand in baby in the movie Golden Gate Girl. He was destined to be in films.
Bruce's father, a Cantonese opera singer moved his family back to Japanese occupied China in 1941 where Bruce would live until he was 1959. His return to the United States at age 18 was due to his troubles with the police for fighting and his involvement in a street gang in Hong Kong. The cast had been set, his two passions had already been realized; fighting and acting.

Bruce's Evolution:
He got a martial arts teaching job and taught his version of Wing Chun style called Jun Fan Gung Fu.
His view of traditional styles of martial arts spawned his evolution of fighting techniques from Wing Chun to Fan Gung Fu and finally Jeet Kune Do (Way of the Intercepting Fist).
Bruce leveled the playing field in terms of who could be taught this ancient Chinese art; all were welcome to learn at his dojo. This was un-heard of and met with much opposition in the Chinese-American community.
His innovation and commitment to martial arts soon propelled him to television roles. He starred as Kato, the explosive sidekick in the Green Lantern series. Numerous television roles would soon follow; from 1966 to 1971 until Hollywood came knocking.
The view of martial arts in the Western World would begin to change forever and his influence solidified.
The Legend

In a Nut Shell
Growing up, my brothers and I had a routine. We would watch a Bruce Lee Movie and by its end someone would have lost a tooth or had a swollen lip due to play fights. This was much to the dismay of our mother.
We emulated Bruce as his presence was so larger than life. A real super hero that we knew was human and gave us hope of rising above what we thought impossible. What a guy!
I remember saving up enough allowance money to get my first two Bruce Lee posters. You could color my two brothers and our friends green with envy, good times.
I have found that Bruce Lee posters make great gifts, especially for Bruce fans and martial arts enthusiasts. I am sure by now, going through this review; you know where you can find the best variety of Bruce Lee posters
