Bruxism is medical term used for teeth grinding, teeth gnashing or clenching of your teeth.

This condition affects both children and adults.

Bruxism or Teeth Grinding 

Most people with bruxism unconsciously clench their teeth together during the day when they often feel anxious, nervous or become tense. This is different from tooth grinding or teeth clenching that occurs at night which is called sleeping bruxism. Children with bruxism condition tend to do so more at night than adults. While adults with bruxism does it at either day or night.
