bucklands complete book of witch craft

Buckland''s Complete Book of Witchcraft is one of the most famous witchcraft books on the market.
It all began in the 1980's when it first appeared on bookshelves were it was quickly picked up by newbie wicca and pegans alike.
In 2002 the second addition of the book came out and for most it was not as good as the first addition but still an excellent book for someone interested
traditional wicca. The book is excellent in covering the practicing of religion as part of a circle or coven. Buckland''s Complete Book of Witchcraft emphasis's on traditional wicca such as birth,sex,death and both the light and dark side of the universe life.
The book is et up like a workbook were there is a quiz at the end of each chapter and exercises.

This book has all the basics, like the Wheel of the year, basic philosophy, tools, spells, and rituals. It also has some things that are not so basic (and that I don't recommend and the author strongly cautions!) like what he terms "Witches' Cradle", a form of sensory deprivation using a form of binding of the body. There are other historical tidbits as well.

This book also has several magickal alphabets, a bit on herbs, a dream interpetaion section I still find very useful, and ideas for covens or solitary practice.
