ADHD Aware is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) community organization run by and for people with AD/HD to expand opportunities and enhance the quality of life of children and adults with ADHD. ADHD Aware fulfills its mission of support, advocacy, and services for children and adults and their families through high-quality, dynamic programming responsive to the needs of the diverse populations affected by ADHD. Through outreach and direct engagement, they also seek to increase public and professional understanding regarding identification of and effective treatment for ADHD, and to decrease social stigmas associated with ADHD.

Aldie Counseling Center is a not-for-profit social service agency that benefits the community by enhancing the self-sufficiency of the people it serves through a broad spectrum of outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs. The mission of Aldie Counseling Center is to provide a warm, caring environment and a variety of educational and professional therapeutic experiences to enable residents of Bucks County and surrounding Pennsylvania counties to address their substance abuse and mental health problems and learn to live healthfully and meaningfully, one day at a time.

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

The Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired's mission is to provide resources, answers, and support for people with blindness or other visual impairment that maximize their ability to meet life's daily challenges and realize their continued self-worth and value to our community.

They help clients prepare for and manage their vision loss by creating individualized service plans that facilitate goal achievement. In partnership with their clients, their professional staff identifies the right combination of services, vision evaluations, assistive technology, education, resources, and support needed for personal success.

They educate our community and raise public awareness by conducting free vision screenings for adults and preschool children that reinforce the need for regular professional eye examinations. They offer presentations that address symptoms and treatments for eye diseases and causes, implications, and prevention of vision loss; and teach best practices to support people with visual impairments.

The Bucks County Autism Support Coalition is an all-volunteer, community-based group focused on maximizing the personal development of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This group is comprised of educators from local school districts and intermediate units, mental health professionals, physicians, behavior specialists, and parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Compeer promotes maximum recovery by persons receiving mental health services through matching them up in one-to-one friendship relationships with caring, trained, adult volunteers. Through volunteer recruitment, Compeer also educates the public about mental illness, striving to eliminate stigma and increase understanding.

Bucks County Compeer is one of the 70 affiliates of the International Affiliation of Compeer Programs (IACP), based in Rochester, NY and is a member of the 13 member Pennsylvania Compeer Coalition. Bucks County Compeer adheres to program quality standards and best practices of IACP.

This is a project of the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania (MHASP) which is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency and is supported by the Bucks County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Administration (MH/MR).

Cancer Survivors Unite is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing support and resources to cancer patients and survivors. The mission of Cancer Survivors Unite is to provide supportive programs and informational resources to young adults, between 18 and 40 years old, affected by a cancer diagnosis.

The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania is an independent nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide resources and opportunities to reduce the impact of addiction and to improve related health issues for the communities of Southeast Pennsylvania (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties). They accomplish this through prevention, consultation, education, advocacy, assessment, intervention, and treatment services. They will make available their services to all, regardless of ability to pay, ethnicity, race, gender, age, or sexual/gender orientation.

Their services for prevention, education, advocacy, assessment, and intervention help to reduce or eliminate the stigma of addiction, which prevents people from seeking treatment.

Gilda's Club is a place where men, women, and children living with cancer, as well as their friends and families, meet to learn how to live with cancer, whatever the outcome.

Gilda's Club provides an emotional and social support community for people living with cancer as well as their friends and families, as an essential complement to medical care. Fundamental to the Gilda's Club philosophy is that members are the experts at living with cancer and that the clubhouse environment is warm, welcoming, and non-institutional. Membership is completely free of charge.

The Hepatitis B Foundation is the only national nonprofit organization solely dedicated to the global problem of hepatitis B. They are dedicated to finding a cure and improving the quality of life for those affected by hepatitis B worldwide.

Their commitment includes funding focused research, promoting disease awareness, supporting immunization and treatment initiatives, and serving as the primary source of information for patients and their families, the medical and scientific community, and the general public.

The goal of Holistic Moms Network is to develop a thriving local community of holistic parents with a wide range of interests. They welcome all area moms (and dads) with an interest in natural health and mindful parenting.

Grandparents, partners, and other caregivers are also welcome as members into the organization. Even future parents will find that the organization is a great place to learn and make new friends. Moms-to-be and new moms are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and seek to be informed.

The Bucks County Chapter of National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a grassroots advocacy organization comprised of families, friends, professionals, and people with brain disorders (mental illness). They are dedicated to improving the lives of people who must cope with devastating brain disorders.

Reach Out Foundation runs a consumer-run drop-in center, whose members operate under the philosophy that consumers must take a leadership role in improving mental health services and consumers help themselves by helping others. Reach Out members provide peer support, education, and advocacy. Reach Out actively provides education to the community on issues related to recovery, mental health, and substance abuse.
