- I like LubD for quality but what really makes this hostel so good is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. Location is ok though, a bit far from the train stations, which is the best way to get around Bangkok. The area around the hostel is quiet but Patpong is not far and you can walk there in about 20 minutes.

- My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. We love the staff working here but the rooms were a bit small. We had to literally shove our luggage into the bunk rooms. Granted we had a lot of luggage since there were 4 of us but still.

- Very nice designed guest friendly hotel, or is it a hostel? Whatever it is Lub D is a great place to stay. But I think it's in a quiet location though. Lucky it's not hot in Bangkok now so it's easy to walk to Patpong or the river to catch the ferry boat and BTS train.

- Was at Lub D for 2 nights after reading your review. We like the place because it is very clean and really cheap. Only thing is I think it is a bit far of a walk to Sky Train. Good thing it is not too hot now though. I think the staff working at Lub D are some of the kindest people too and very friendly to our children.

- Lub d hotel/hostel is a really good choice if you want to stay in a high end area of Bangkok. My husband and booked a private room and the room rate you offer here is better than booking directly on Lub d website, so we appreciate the good value and review. Oh, you have to visit Patpong nightlife, it is a wild place by safe for travelers.

- My 2nd stay here at Lub d, for someone reason service seemed to have slowed down a bit. My room was cleaned a bit later in the afternoon, while as before it was first thing before. But everything is still fine and I'll be returning again for sure!

- Stayed in a room and shared with my friends of 4. The bunk beds were better than other hostels in Bangkok. We loved the super clean bathrooms. It kind of looked like there's a thai lady living inside because she's always cleaning. The area Lub d in is quite good. It's quiet and many places to eat. But if you want noise and music it's a quick 10 minute walk to Patpong. We loved our stay especialliy the friendly people and atmosphere of Lub d.

- We stayed here for 3 nights, a short vacation but Lub d made our trip worth the money. Our room qualities was excellent and good size. We used shared bathrooms but it was very well cleaned as well. I think a worker cleans it once every few hours. Location is good, near river and night markets. For saving money this quality of Lub d is very worth it. I recommend you stay here too.

- Lub D is fantastic place to stay and I agree I don't consider this a hostel more of a budget hotel. My thanks to Khun Nuch for making our stay more special. We had a great time in Bangkok and Lub D made it more enjoyable.

- Lub d in Bangkok has some of the most special people working inside. And the rooms are more of a hotel quality than hostel. Bunk beds were comfortable and even though our room types include shared bathrooms it was clean thoroughly. For Baht 900 the value can't be beat. We'll all be back next time without a doubt.

- Thank you for sharing information on Lub d. This is a lovely hotel, yes I consider Lub d a excellent hotel. We're a family of 4 and we enjoyed the comforts and quality. Originally we stayed at the Narai, which cost more but saw prostitutes with ugly fat foreign men eating breakfast near our table. When you answered my email and told me that Lub d does not allow such nonsense and is a good choice for families I listened and I thank you so much.
Best Regards,
Melanie

- We love the clean rooms and friendly smile at Lub d. As a family of 8 we wish not to spend too much money. But we were concerned with clean and safety. Lub d made sure we had both! Staff were so lovely and friendly to our children and were sad to see us leave. Come to Lub d if you want a good location Bangkok and spend little.

- Pretty good hotel if you're traveling on a budget. I booked a private room with my own bath. The water pressure is not too good and water is between hot and cold. Not such a big deal as most budget hotels have such problems.
