- I agree with all the reviews here. Salil is a wonderful little hotel. Yah, there is no elevator but hotel people are very quick to help with bags. And I only tip 30 baht and the guy was happy! Why, not, 30 baht can by a plate of food. Salil has big room and room is clean like new. Book this hotel, it's great in good and busy area of Bangkok.

- Salil is a cool little hotel with very big rooms. And it's not expensive from booking here. It was cheaper than booking through the Salil Hotel directly. This is a clean hotel, I stayed on the 2nd floor in a superior room. Like it's mentioned here there is no elevator but hotel staff can help you. I tip the guy 30 baht and he was happy. By the way you can bring back bar girls to your room and the hotel is okay with it.

- Like the rest of the comments here I agree Salil is a very cozy hotel in central Bangkok. The location is the real winning factor for me to stay here. It is near the Nana and Soi Cowboy but far enough to stay away from the noise.

- Salil Hotel is tops. Very clean big rooms and comfortable beds with flat screen televisions. The hotel offers free tuk tuk to drive you to Sukhumvit road even when it is not a far walk. YOur reservation service is very good and reliable too with best price. Thank you so much for your help in helping me plan our trip.

- I think Salil is a very good value for the money spent. I'm staying here right now and just want to thank you for introducing me to Salil. I booked a superior room and enjoy the style and roominess. Bathroom is quite small though but no problem. Housekeeping is very efficient and always friendly. It is fairly new and the location is very good with a tuk tuk that will take you to the main road. I enjoy this hotel and know others will too.

- This is my second stay at Salil within 2 years. Very cheerful staff working here and rooms are very new and in good condition. Even though the room is classic European style it is still modern. It is a little bit far down Soi 8 there is a free tuk tuk to take you to main road. Salil is a very good budget hotel and you should stay here. There's no elevators though but plenty of workers to help you with luggage if need be.

- We really enjoyed our stay at Salil because the location is very good and the hotel is not expensive at all yet the rooms are very nicely done up. Hotel food wasn't too good but there are many other places to eat in the area. I'm happy to tell people to stay at this hotel too.

- Great place, no complaints at all, except there's no stairs. Excellent room prices here too and never had a problem reserving a room on your websites.

- I decided to stay here because I heard it's near a red light district and it was. Even though it's down a quiet lane Salil is stil close to train and many restaurants and bars. I like the way the rooms are designed and yes it does look like the pictures. People working here are friendly even though it's hard to communicate with housekeeping. I will come back here next time.

- Salil hotel is a nice place to stay and I recommend them as well. Very good location indeed. But you may see a bit of prostituion up on the main rood so maybe not so good for children. Rooms look nice, exactly like pictures.

- Lovely little hotel in a quiet street. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay with the clean and comfortable rooms. We were worried if the rooms looked like the pictures or not and happy that it was similar. Salil is close to the train and sometimes we walk and sometimes the nice man working at the hotel will take us there in a tuk tuk. I also recommend this hotel to everyone.
