- the manhattan hotel is prime location. for the price it is very well worth the money because the rooms are nice, a bit dated for my taste but clean and in good working order, especially the air condition. this is a big tourist hotel for men because there are many thai hookers nearby because the hotel is located in a red light district. stay here it's good, cheap and plenty of things to eat and shop near the hotel, and train station not far too.

- Thank you Edwin for recommending Manhattan Hotel, the location as you mentioned is very good and to me I felt like I was in a really big city since I was worried about where to stay in Bangkok. Thanks for warning me about the taxi drivers as well waiting outside hotels. I can see what you mean they are aggressive. I would come back to this hotel without hesitation.

- I just finished my stay here at Manhattan hotel. I really have to recommend them too. The rooms are nicely done and newish. I stayed in a superior room on the 10th floor by the way for 2 nights. Breakfast is filling and the location is the best. It is right between 2 go go bar districts plus many popular bars and clubs nearby. Thanks for the great hotel deal too!

- Very nice hotel at an attractive rate. Booked a 5 night stay from your website with the best price around. Our room at the Manhattan Hotel were very clean and spacious. Hotel is in a good location, close to so many restaurants, massage parlors and bars. It was a real joy staying here.

- I stayed on the 4th floor of this hotel just last week and my room had this bad moldy smell in bathroom, sort of as if the toilet was backed up too. Good thing I only stayed here for 1 night, otherwise I would've just went to another hotel.

- This hotel is good for nightlife exploration. But the rooms need a refreshing. Too much smoke in a supposedly non smoking room. Make sure to stay clear of taxi touts outside. These guys are like mosquitos and only want to suck your money by taking you to massage parlors that charge you extra to pay their commission.

- Very good location indeed. You're virtually right in the heart of Bangkok. Booked here for 3 nights before our trip to Samui. Rooms here are okay, not great, but for the cheap price you can't really ask for much. Breakfast in morning was decent, though service was slow even when it was not too many guests. Many shops nearby to do some shopping and the SKy Train nearby is a big plus. Overall I would stay here again.

- I had a friend stay here one time and he told me Manhattan Hotel had a lack of service and friendliness but the rooms were adequate. But the room price here is right for my budget and the location is certainly a major selling point; simply put Manhattan Hotel is between 2 major red light districts and in walking distance. I can understand why there may be a lack of service because there are many guests staying here. My guess is the room rates is so low now this hotel has become popular.

- This is a standard hotel with decent service. I stayed in a superior room on the 8th floor and my room was a bit old. But my friend was staying on the 11th floor and his room was a bit newer. So it's a hit or miss here. Overall I would probably come back to Manhattan hotel and if my room is still older I would probably ask for a room change. Breakfast in morning was plentiful and filling. Hotel has a pool, small but nice because it is so hot in Bangkok. I also like this hotel because you can get to 2 different go go bar districts quite easily =)

- I booked here upon your recommendation and was so surprised that the rooms were so cheap. I was a bit apprehensive but when I first arrived to Manhattan Hotel by taxi I was so relieved to see that this hotel is so well kept. And when I got my room on the 11th floor (superior room) I was thankful to you that I booked a 8 night stay here. The free breakfast that came along with the room rate was delicious too!

- Thanks for the reviews! We liked our stay at the Manhattan hotel since it's right in the heart of Bangkok. I've stayed in several other hotels in this price range and see that Manhattan has decent rooms, an excellent breakfast that comes with the rate and the best clubs and bars plus the train station is very close.

- I totally agree Manhattan Hotel is a very good location. Luckily I've avoided the time when it is normally crowded and easily got a table for breakfast for the week I stayed there. Very good recommendation!

- Manhattan hotel is a good location, right in the middle of two red light districts. I like the rooms here, it's bigger and clean. But I think I came here during a tour group rush because there were so many japanese people. So I had to wait a long time for elevators. Even though I would still come bac here for sure.

- Really good location in central bangkok. My superior room was very clean, bed a bit old but room is quite big. Slow elevators though, my room was on the 12th floor. Breakfast had many varieties but I agree with the rest of the comments when there's too many people it get's packed.

- My room wasn't old at Manhattan, I stayed at a superior room just last month and I'm booking again. Maybe some rooms have been renovated, next time I'll take pictures. I always like staying at Manhattan, it's close to everything a single man could ever want. Really good place to stay in Bangkok!

- Manhattan is an excellent value with nice decent rooms. A bit old but functional. Watch out of the huge tour groups in the morning, you might not get a table for breakfast in the morning. Overall I would come back to Manhattan Hotel.

- This is the 3rd time I've been here at Manhattan hotel. When I arrived I had a really shitty room. I took your advice, went downstairs and got a room upgrade! Your tips on hotels and how to deal with Thai customer service is spot on! Thank you so much!

- Manhattan Hotel is perfect if you like to visit the adult nightlife of Nana and Soi Cowboy. This is my first time here and I'm liking everything so far. Beds are a bit firm but good enough for a rest. I don't mind coming back here next time at all.
