Okay, so this one is kind of a no brainier. You want to get married on the beach. And, it's a big deal. It is central to your whole wedding. The fancy seaside resorts and golf clubs are out of your budget. How do you decide and figure out which beach to get married on and where to have your reception?

Check state parks. Many will allow you to have a wedding ceremony and many have reception facilities available, which cost much less than hotels and country clubs.

Check ocean side restaurants. If you are okay with having a smaller, informal wedding, check some of the restaurants on the beach. Many have banquet facilities, and would be happy to have you hold your ceremony out on the deck.

See about chartering a yacht. Yeah right, I thought this was supposed to be budget friendly. It is. Many people are able to charter a boat to have their ceremony on, and some boats are even big enough for a reception. Check around. I have a friend who was able to get married on Lake Tahoe for $30 a person, which included the ceremony and the reception, with food and open bar. For 100 guest, that was a bill of $3000.
