Bugaboo Pram / Baby Carrier
Bugaboo is a pram / or a baby carrier made in the Netherlands.
Max Barenbrug (at the time a design student) got the idea of producing a functional baby stroller / buggy for use both in urban environments and for outdoor leisure activities.
Max Berenbrug graduated with honors at the Design Academy of Eindhoven, in 1994.
In a similar story to that of James Dyson (desinger of the Dyson Vacuum cleaner) Max Barenbrug initially tried to sell the desing for his baby stroller to other manucacturer, who thought it was un-viable and "too revolutionary".
Barenbrug and partner Zanen then decided to produce the bugaboo stroller themselves.
In 1999, the Bugaboo Frog made its debut in Holland.
They have four models: the Frog, the Cameleon, the Gecko and the Bee. Since the debut of the Frog in the United States, the popularity of the brand has been boosted with celebrites using the pram for their children, and appearing several times on television.

Revew Bugaboo Gecko:
Wow! What an amazing Pram/Pushchair! Designed to go anywhere you would like to go with your baby. Carrycot and pushchair with hood, pvc and insect net. Swivel / fixed front wheels for City , Fixed large front wheels for Woods, and just the two large wheels for Beach!
The Bugaboo Gecko is easy to fold but it was a bit of a pain having to take the seat off to get the frame into the car. It easily fits into an Audi A4 but minis are a definite no-no!
The pushchair can be forward or rear-facing which I loved. I found it exceptionally easy to push and it's refreshingly smooth and light in comparison to other prams on the market. It works as a travel system with the Maxi Cosi Cabrio car seat - this is easy to attach though I believe you do need to pay extra for the adaptors.

Are Bugaboo Strollers Worth the Money
Bugaboo worth the money?
Amazingly comfortable, incredibly durable and makes city strolling a breeze. Turning radius is incredible.
Cons
Accessories are expensive; still need a cheaper stroller for airports.
The Bottom Line
Excellent product for city dwellers - comfortable and durable and keeps your child protected. The various seating positions make it incredibly versatile.
Bugaboos=Rip Off
Who needs to spend that kind of money on a stroller, its all for show. I spent less than a $100 on my Graco stroller, my daughter is three and it still works and looks great! Oh, and they have so many cute patterns now, check out the website.
Bugaboo Camelion
Bugaboo Camelion Review
There is not doubt that on the whole the Bugaboo Cameleon is a good quality and versatile pram. It does have some downsides, however, and it is worth considering how important these may be before investing in this pram.
