Your meal plan is the foundation of building muscle. Without the right fuel, you will never get any real results. You need two things to build lean muscle: protein (with more of an emphasis on this) and carbs.
Protein is the building block of muscle. You should consume 1 gram of protein for each pound of body weight. This may seem hard, but it is actually fairly easy if you drink protein shakes.
I personally drink a protein shake with each major meal as well as an extra one after my workouts.

Your workouts need to be short an intense. I highly recommend you split your exercises between upper and lower body. Work out your upper body on day one and then your lower body on day two. This ensures that each muscle group gets 48 hours of rest. This is the best recovery time for maximum results.
