Gaming Computer 101 - Nvidia Vs ATI

Always build with compatible parts...

All desktops are built with similar components to minimize the chance of hardware and software issues. NVIDIA Geforce and ATI Radeon are leaders in the gaming hardware industry.

These rival companies build motherboards to go with their OWN graphic cards, this mean that Nvidia motherboard ONLY work with NVIDIA graphic cards, and ATI motherboards will ONLY work with ATI graphic cards.

The ASUS NVIDIA Geforce graphic cards works extremely well with the ASUS P6TD motherboard & Intel i7 which are both featured above the red sections

The main reason NVIDIA is chosen over ATI is because of the fact, that the GPU architecture & software drivers on ATI are far inferior. ATI is cheaper for a reason, and is NOT a good brand to overclock with. Also Intel i7 was made to work with NVIDIA, and for the sole purpose of this argument, overclocking is a lot better with the NVIDIA and Intel combo period!

Building Tip - Gaming Graphic Card
