- Now I'm not harvesting anything, but I'm a bonsai enthusiast. I have like 30 carmona bonsai trees, and they need to be kept indoors for the most of the year. Greenhouse in this case is a great idea, having in mind my house is full of flora...

- Interesting approach for building greenhouses. I like the idea at all. Just the right way to encourage green living. Get some tips and designs with tumbleweeds houses. Thanks!

- Great Lens. Sadly I'm not very good with greenhouses - we had a greenhouse with an old vine in it. Chopped down the vine to plant tomato seeds and the greenhouse collapsed. It was a shattering experience in more ways than one.

- We had success this year, growing all our own patio flowers, and they were beautiful, we are branching out this year, trying veg. It is great for my daughter and she loves seeing the process. I am a huge fan of anything 'green' ! Great information

- I've just lost most of my vege seedlings to the snails. Again. Sigh. I think a greenhouse might be what I need to keep them out.

- I'm not much of a gardener, but I've always been fascinated with greenhouses. It would be wonderful to have one at home. And a gardener who knows what he's doing. :)

- Definitely a favorite!!! I am saving up to put a lean-to style greenhouse on a south facing wall of my house that is an unheated laundry/storage room. My thought is that the greenhouse would have the added benefit of heating that room in winter to keep pipes from freezing without having to run a space heater, as well as giving me a start on the growing season.

- Good lens, I've been here several times. I am considering putting a 'greenhouse' on my balcony this winter.
Question--those info links in our lens text--do we get to share any income made from them? I've had a problem in that when I click on one in my lens, I often can't hit the back arrow and return to my lens. Do you know anything about them? I can't seem to find the answer here on Squidoo.

- Awesome! You've got yourself a good lens. Not too much information. For someone like me, when it comes to building something, I need as few directions as possible. Keep it simple, don't scare people away...LOL 5 stars!

- I have been wanting a greenhouse for years. I live in the south so extending our growing season for 6 - 10 weeks would take us into December. Food for thought there. I will be checking into this more - saving to favs.

- I dream of a hobby greenhouse! Hubby may build me one someday and this lens is just the thing to give him the ideas and info! But, for now, every available windowsill in the house is harboring my seed-starting trays with tomatos, beans, different peppers, brussel sprouts, and all my tomatos for the summer! Can't wait for after Mother's Day to plant them into the ground!

- Nice lens! It gives me ideas for growing some Tropical Plants here where we get frost occasionally but sufficiently hot during the summers. (We're not quite as cold as North Dakota or Minnesota -- California is mostly more reasonable for all seasons!). I'd plan on putting the tropical plants in the green house during our winters and then bringing them out during the warmer months (usually about 9 months out of the year. Thanks for a cool lens with great plans and ideas!
