You Can Build a More Active Team Faster and Deeper

Is your downline growing as fast as you want? Probably not! Why not? Most people feel they don't have enough leads entering their marketing funnel. So, now, the issue is how to get more prospects into your funnel.

Your upline will probably tell you that you need better focus; you need to set crisp objectives; you need to improve your belief level; you need to add more names to your warm market list; you need to implement the three foot rule, you need to buy some leads, etc.

I'll tell you that you should develop new ways to start people into the funnel. One way that you probably haven't used yet is to use attraction marketing using social networking with Web 2.0.

What Is Attraction Marketing?

Attraction Marketing is a term used to describe methods of getting prospects to come to you (using attraction). The idea is to avoid many of the perceived negatives associated with network marketing such as prospecting your friends and family over and over again or being overly aggressive in presenting your opportunity to everyone you meet. In other circles, I have heard Attraction Marketing referred to as Inbound Marketing.

You avoid these negatives by taking the positive approach of putting your message out on the Internet and allowing those who are interested to come to you. As you put your message "out there", you provide some value to those who see your message so that they will have more reason to seek you out looking for more value.

How Do I Implement Attraction Marketing?

Here's where you start to use your creative skills. Think about all the different "places" where you can place web content and all the varied topics you can use to provide value to web surfers who are your potential prospects.

These prospects will be attracted to you by the value you provide and by the number of places that they see you on display. So you should provide content on any subject you feel competent to share. You should put this content in as many forms as possible and in as many places as possible. One good place to start is right here on Squidoo. You can put content on FaceBook, MySpace, YouTube, etc. You can publish ezine articles. Think of the possibilities!

Where Can I Get More Information?

You may be asking yourself, "How do I learn about using all these tools?" I suggest the following authors:

  • Ann Sieg

    Ann's ebooks include:

    • The Renegade Network Marketer This ebook highlights many of the beliefs that are passed from upline to downline that are truly not productive. It provides a different approach that your upline probably won't teach you.

    • The Seven Great Lies of Network Marketing In this ebook, Ann dispels seven beliefs about network marketing that are currently held by most network marketers (those that haven't yet started to use attraction marketing).

  • Mike Dillard

    Mike has written:

    • Magnetic Sponsoring Mike introduces the idea that you should be a magnet and attract others to you, not your business or your product. And it is imperative to attract, not chase.

    • Building on a Budget In this book, Mike suggests several inexpensive (some are free) methods to get your name "out there".

  • Mike Klingler

Mike has created a tremendous number of video training sessions on how to use each of the tools. These are all available at Renegade University. From what I've seen, Mike's trainings are the most comprehensive and they have a structure and flow. He shows you how to get started and then builds skill upon skill as you progress in the use of the tools.
