What Is Rapport?
Mind control stories and rapport is the moment when two individuals are mutually understanding of each other's ideas, feelings, and outcomes. This moment allows communication to flow and flourish. Rapport is constantly being built between individuals and groups. A natural hierarchy of power and status is developed over time. People that you are in contact with every day have already built rapport with you including family, friends, and co-workers.
Building Your Mind Control Stories
But because most people do not understand why and how these strategies work, they can be misused. This can lead to the lack of rapport that can cause tensions in their relationships. We are social beings and relationships are crucial to survival in our society. Understanding the components of rapport in mind control stories and practicing them in social situations will improve your social skills in your personal and professional life.
One phrase sums up the definition of rapport. "People like people like themselves." So by sharing with another person how both of you have similar experiences, ideas, and goals allows them to feel secure around you. It imprints the idea in their mind that both of you have similar values and can benefit each other. People are always seeking out others with similar values, goals, and experiences. Deep down they know there is no need to convince someone to help reach their aspirations when they are already so similar. Less time is wasted and more time is spent on reaching the desired outcome. When two people are passionate about their values and aspirations, they know subconsciously the passion will drive their desire to achieve the same result be it a romantic relationship or starting a new business. Similar passions and values drives people past the point where others without such similarities decide to quit. This is why rapport is so valuable.
Matching & Mirroring
The Key to Gaining the Subconscious's Trust
It is crucial the other person's conscious mind does not detect the matching and mirroring. If they consciously notice what you're doing, they will interpret it as being physically mocked. This will break rapport instead of gaining it.
So how do you evade being detected by their conscious mind that you're matching and mirroring to gain rapport? Instead of duplicating their posture and motion immediately when they do something, wait a second or two. Then slowly change your own posture and motion. Another thing to try is to keep your matching and mirroring a bit ambiguous. Instead of duplicating their postures, gestures, and body motion exactly like a robot, change up your duplication slightly. This gives variety to your matching and mirroring making it more difficult for their conscious mind to detect your intentions.
