To show you how you can save some serious money on your kitchen remodel, let me first take you through a typical scenario for a kitchen shopper: You decide to remodel your kitchen, so you do some research and find that the cabinetry will be the most cost prohibitive aspect of the project. For years China has been importing RTA (ready to assemble) cabinetry which a homeowner can easily put together with nothing but a screw driver. ASSEMBLY

All the cabinets assemble with a proprietary spline and dovetail technology that must be seen to be believed. Check out the video below and see for yourself. In general, what you need to know is that there are NO metal clips or fasteners that hold this cabinet together. Instead, it uses a sliding dovetailed technology where the top and bottom slide into the side panels and the face frame is held on with wood glue and a unique plastic spline. The result is a cabinet that literally CANT fall apart thanks to the dovetails. You really need to check out the video!
