building a shed for a newbie? plans? materials? what else?
I'm a complete n00b when it comes to building... well... anything. after buying my first house, it became clear quickly that my backyard was way too empty. not only that but my tools, equipment, and even my motorcycle was just not going to fit in the garage along with two cars.
building a storage shed was my only real option; but it's my first real bit project, so anything that'd ease the process was VERY welcome.
fortunately I was able to find some very good online resources to help me out to which I'll go into more depth.
i need to say, shed blueprints online was a breath of fresh air in this whole venture.

as I said, I was completely lost when it came to building a storage shed. heck, i could barely handle legos, much less a power drill.
so the first step for me was to know what i was going to go about doing. I opted to use shed blueprints online for my primary resource. i'd heard plenty of good things about it, and decided it was worth a shot.
fortunately I scored a hole-in-one on my choice. there were plenty of designs to choose from, and it was all laid out easily enough for me to understand.

so how did my shed building diy project go?
not as bad as you might think! i'm happy to report that shed blueprints online is a great resource and really got me going in the right direction. i ended up using their materials list, and I got all of the required wood cut out at the local home depot.the actual assembly was a snap. shed blueprints online covered it all very well, and the project was completed far more quickly than i had anticipated.
long story short, my tools and my bike have a new home, and i couldn't be more happy. I'd definitely suggest shed blueprints online for anyone who is interested in starting a project like this. great project!
