National BIM Standard Project Committee
The mission of the National BIM Standard Project Committee as identified in the charter is to improve the performance of facilities over their full life-cycle by fostering a common, standard and integrated life-cycle information model for the A/E/C & FM industry. This information model will allow for the free flow of graphic and non-graphic information among all parties to the process of creating and sustaining the built environment, and will work to coordinate U.S. efforts with related activities taking place internationally.

IFMA (International Facility Management Association)
IFMA is the largest and most widely recognized professional association for facility management, supporting approximately 18,000 members. The Association's members are represented in 125 chapters, 16 councils and one Special Interest Group (SIG), in 56 countries worldwide. Globally, IFMA certifies facility managers, conducts research, provides educational programs, recognizes facility management degree and certificate programs and produces World Workplace, the largest facility management-related conference and exposition.
Modular Building Institute
Founded in 1983, the Modular Building Institute is the only, international, non-profit trade association serving non-residential modular construction. Our regular membership includes wholesale manufacturers, direct manufacturers, and dealers of commercial modular buildings, while our associate members are companies supplying building components, services, and financing to the industry.

It is MBI's mission to grow the industry and its capabilities by encouraging innovation, quality, and professionalism through communication, education, and recognition.

MBI also administers an educational foundation. This site is designed for those interested in non-residential modular construction.

Federal Facilities Council
The Federal Facilities Council (FFC) was established in 1953 as the Federal Construction Council. It operates under the auspices of the Board on Infrastructure and the Constructed Environment (BICE) of the National Research Council, the principal operating agency of the National Academies and the National Academy of Engineering. The FFC's mission is to identify and advance technologies, processes, and management practices that improve the performance of federal facilities over their entire life-cycle, from planning to disposal.

The FFC fulfills its mission by (1) networking/sharing information among the agencies on a regular basis in a neutral forum; and (2) leveraging funding for studies, conferences, forums on topics of interest to the members.Typically, the annual FFC program will include initiation/completion of a policy study conducted by a blue ribbon panel of experts, the initiation/completion of 1-2 technical studies, and 2-5 forums.To facilitate networking, the FFC supports 5 standing committees which meet quarterly for a total of 20 one-half day meetings per year. The majority of meetings include presentations by guest speakers from the federal community, academia, and the private sector.
