Learning How To Blog For Business
Blogging For Business
Business owners using WordPress generally fall into two categories. The first category includes techno-geeks who know everything you need to know build a blog from scratch, what plug ins to secure the blog, maximizing search engine optimization, and adding in audio and video for podcasting.
Then comes the second category that I freely admit that I fall into, the techno-tards. I can push the button on the CPanel to create the blog. From there, I wish there was someone to hold my hand telling me what to do next. While WordPress has tried to make your blog setup as easy as possible, for the blogging newbie it's like trying to unlock your front door in total darkness. You know the door is there, but where's the keyhole?
I really empathize with anyone who has used various blogging platforms and still feels uncomfortable with blogging or finds it is taking them an extreme amount of time. I know I stuck my head in the training areas for some blogs and quickly decided that was way too intense and over my head. So I did the next best thing. I worked for the company for awhile to learn how blogs work, the marketing strategy for marketing using our blog, techniques for sales pages, and a whole bunch more. I must say it's not too shabby to get paid to learn. :)
In any event, I have looked at every blogging platform out there and tried more than a few. I found the perfect business blogging software. I love the search engine optimization, drag-and-click design for your landing page and sales pages, one-time offer pages, audio and video podcasting uploads and a whole lot more.
Bottom line, I don't want to build my blog, maintain it and back up my files on a regular basis. I want some one to do the heavy lifting. If you're looking at a different platform, feel free to check out my blog for tips.
