Hello there
I am putting this lens together to answer some questions we have been asked in the past, and to give a little bit more information in a little bit more detail than buildmylens.com itself.
If you have any questions just ask. We'll get back to pretty quickly.
Ad if you want us to get started on building lenses to promote your business or products, head over to BuildMyLens.com!
Why do you need my Twitter username?
Squidoo and Twitter can work together nicely. If you provide us with your Twitter username (just your username, not your password) we can set your lenses up so that your latest Twitter posts show up on your lens automatically.
This means the visitors to your lenses will be encouraged to click to your Twitter profile to get to know you a bit more. And from there they can follow you, or click to your website in your Twitter sidebar, or click on any links in your latest Twitter posts.
And then, congratulations. You have made a fan/customer/friend.
Will the lens you build me help me make better lenses?
A lot of our clients have told us that they have been able to go into Edit mode on the lenses we build for them and see better ways to build their own lenses. They see something we have done on their lenses and they are able to jump right in and see how it was done. It's like looking behind that curtain and seeing the Wizard of Oz.
So if you want the ultimate how-to for building better lenses, it seems a BuildMyLens lens is a great hands on tool - as well as promoting your business in the process!
I think I just need a guide about building lenses, to do it myself!
If you are looking for a step by step guide so you can go the DIY approach to lens building, then we've got you covered!Check out Social Networking on Squidoo, Tiffany Dow's all-purpose guidebook teaching you everything you need to know about Squidoo and building lenses for yourself.

What if I don't have a blog?
Blogs and lenses go together like ice cream and chocolate sauce. Together they are irresistable. You can link to your lenses from the sidebar of your blog, and post about your lenses, and all your blog posts can be set to automatically feed onto your lenses. This directs people in and around your section of the world wide web, and keeps potential customers interacting with you.
You want your customer to say 'Man! This guy/girl is EVERYWHERE!'. It's about making yourself findable in dozens of new ways.
If you don't yet have a blog then you can get a customised creation set up at YourNicheBlog.com.
I started YourNicheBlog because of the high number of requests coming from BuildMyLens customers about blog building.

- Hey TAL, I like reading your stuff, and i find it easy to understand. I am a noob and was wondering if there is a place where I can learn how to transfer a lense? I created one but want to transfer it to another one of my accounts. Can you point the way? I would appreciate any help you can give.
