After consulting with a pool builder they usually have a general idea of the kind of pool they want. Maybe they have already decided on a shape and size that compliments their back yard and landscape as well.Some people will even get several bids on the same pool project to make sure they are getting the best price for their new swimming pool. Very few people consider the option of contracting the job themselves and cut out the cost of the pool builder. This can add up to substantial savings. Most pool builders add anywhere from 50% to 100% over cost. Contracting the pool project yourself can either save you a lot of money on your swimming pool, allow you to add options or build a larger pool for the same money.
