Ben's Bujinkan Ninjutsu lens
On this lens, I will be providing information, resources and guidance for the Japanese art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu and Ninpo Taijutsu (the higher form of the art)
The more I learn about this art, and myself, the more I feel Ninjutsu should be a part of everybody's life; not for the training side of it, although that does help to build a stronger body and mind, but more for the philosophy behind it. Ninpo is the truly esoteric side of the art and really allows you to peer into other worlds and see things differently.
I must admit, I'm nowhere near enlightenment or ascension yet. I can be very petty and a real whinging pomm sometimes. But I am trying to become a better person.
I hope that the information I post here will provide you with some insight into a very old martial art and life system that will aid you in becoming a better person too.
What is Ninjutsu?
The way of the Ninja is the way of enduring, surviving, and prevailing over all that would destroy one. More than merely delivering strikes and slashes, and deeper in significance than the simple out-witting of an enemy; Ninjutsu is the way of attaining that which we need while making the world a better place.
What is Bujinkan Ninjutsu (Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu)
taken from Wikipedia
The art is widely considered to be the last legitimate ninpo, or ninja, martial art, particularly because of the influence of Togakure Ryu.
It is headed by the Soke of the school Masaaki Hatsumi. Masaaki Hatsumi states he is the lineage holder of the nine Ryuha transferred to him in the middle of the 20th Century by his teacher Takamatsu Toshitsugu.
The Bujinkan is specifically known for its Koshijutsu, Koppojutsu, Jutaijutsu, Dakentaijutsu, and Happo Hikenjutsu in addition to its higher elements of Ninpo and Ninjutsu.
Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu practice does not include participation in competitions or contests.

- Note from author:
Here is a tribute video I did when I was bored today. I tried to make it a bit eyecatching so that people that may not know of this art can get interested. Maybe... - YouTube - Human Weapon Ninjutsu
- Cool footage of Ninjutsu in action.
Human Wepaon is an excellent TV show from the History Channel.
Each episode deals with a different martial art where the two presenters train in that art and at the end of the show they wil face an expert in that art.
In this episode they both chose to fight an expert.
I'd love to post the entire episode but it's too big unfortunately but this 10 minute segment shows you a lot of the good stuff.
I highly recommend visiting the website here: Human Weapon - YouTube - A REAL Ninjutsu Master
- Soke Maasaki Hatsumi in action. Nuff said.
