Delicious Buko Pie (Young Coconut Pie)

When I was living in the Philippines, one of my favorite yummy treats was the buko pie. It was something that people would be sure to buy whenever they visited Laguna. It was delicious and I would always buy two boxes of that great pie.

I am sharing with you the recipe for that wonderful buko pie. The recipe uses young coconut meat which is called buko in Filipino.

Put some holes on the top crust using a fork. The holes are to help prevent any deformation on the pie crust.

Take the pie out of the oven and allow it to cool.

Have I mentioned how much I love your recipe lenses? This one sounds wonderful! I'm glad that the ingredients are available on Amazon--I've never heard of "young" coconut. But any recipe that has coconut in it has to be good! (and I got to be the first to like this lens!)
