The new and updated 4.0 BumGenius cloth diaper features upgraded hook and loop tabs, replaceable elastic, and larger sizing to accomodate bigger babies. They are also now available with snaps, for those who prefer a more durable diaper closure.
BumGenius 4.0 diapers are designed with a wide pocket for easy stuffing. They come with 2 microfiber inserts. The larger insert folds down and snaps for smaller sizes. How does a One Size BumGenius work?
One size diapers are adjustable to make it easy to fit on a baby from about 8 pounds to 35 pounds. The BumGenius cloth diaper has snaps that you can adjust to make the rise fit your baby (the rise is the length from belly button to the baby's waist in the back).

BumGenius Diapers Have Stretchy Tabs

What is a pocket diaper?
A pocket diaper is a diaper that has a waterproof outer layer, a stay-dry lining and a pocket opening so you can insert an absorbent insert. The BumGenius has a back opening inside the diaper with a flap over it to keep the insert from coming out on its own or touching your baby. How to Wash Your BumGenius 4.0 Diapers
Washing cloth diapers is easy. Washing pocket diapers such as the BumGenius 4.0 is even easier. BumGenius diapers are lined with soft suedecloth. Suedecloth is better than fleece at resisting stains, feels dryer when the diaper is wet, does not pill, and makes it easy to shake off the mess into the toilet.To wash your BumGenius 4.0 diapers: Remove insert from diaper. Fasten tabs to laundry tabs on inside of diaper. Wash cold, then hot. Use ¼ to ½ (¼ for high efficiency machines, ½ in regular machines) of the manufacturer's recommended amount of additive free detergent. Rinse well. Line dry the covers for best results..

bumGenius has a new diaper on the market - and people are loving it. The sizing and the basic style are the same as the bumGenius 4.0 pocket diaper and the Flip diapering system - but the bumGenius Freetime is an all-in-one cloth diaper. The inserts are sewn in so there is no need to stuff a pocket or find any pieces in the wash. Simply fold the soakers to the place you want them (forward for a boy, middle for a girl or newborn). Pretty cool, eh? Will it really fit all those sizes?
One frequent question I hear from parents is "Will one diaper really fit all those sizes?" For most babies, the answer is "Yes!" BumGenius 3.0 diapers fit average and thin babies very well from 8-35 pounds. For most babies this is from birth to potty training. My 34 pound 2 year old still fits in a BumGenius 4.0. How many will I need?
If you are cloth diapering full time, you will need about 2 dozen one-size diapers. I always recommend a hemp doubler or two for overnights and nap times to provide an extra boost of absorbency. BumGenius 4.0 cloth diapers sell for $17.95 each or $16.95 when you buy 12 or more. Two dozen diapers will cost about $406 and will save you about $1,600-2,000 over the cost of disposable diapers. Add some cloth wipes and you can save another $300 or more on wipes.

- This bum genius diaper is absolutely genius. I never heard of anything like the Bum Genius Diaper before. Someone was incredibly clever with this idea.
